Ok so my girlfriend weighs 124 pounds, shes 18, and is 5 foot 6 (or so) inches.
She is skinny as hell, but she is always telling me how she needs to loose weight and how she feels like a whale. Back in highschool people would make fun of her for BEING TOO Skinny, but she still thinks she needs to loose weight. I don't know what to do :sad.gif: It's scaring me
How can I convince her that she doesn't need to loose ANY weight OR possible GAIN a couple pounds?

Tell her that it is possible to die(this is true) from being too skinny. I have a friend who really needs to gain weight as his weight is in the danger zone.
Just be honest and tell her, Hey babe this is really bothering me, I love you the way you are, and I'm not sure who you're trying to lose weight for, because I think you're perfect the way you are, if she doesn't understand, or she is more worried about what others think about her, than what you think about her, than it would be time to kick her to the curb, because your opinion of her should be the final opinion.
I too wonder about the lack of logic in the female brain. Emotion gets in the way and roadblocks all logic.
But really I'm unsure of how to convince such.. my only thought is to convince her somehow that you like curves, and boney doesn't feel good... idk. Its a tough one.
Wow I should have expected some of these answers from the pricks on 4chan. Sorry I misspelled ONE WORD "lose".
I have told her many times that it scares me, and that it can kill her and that she was made fun of for being too small but in her mind she is still too fat. She won't see a therapist about it either.

Tap that ass. Alot. That should bring her self image up some what. Also tell her how much you like T&A. You know?. Or, get this: You talk to someone that went to school for 8 years for this. You know, like this guy:
Talk to a therapist about how one best tackles a person with anorexia, and how one gets them in threatment. It may seem like a lot to do, but this is serious. Find a therapist, shoot him/her an e-mail describing the problem and find a time to meet them and discuss it.
I certainly will do
Off topic, the links on your tutorial thread, to each part of the tutorials, just send me back to the first page, I have to go page by page, might want to fix that.
Ok the easy things havent worked so:
Good news she isn't a shallow *****.
Bad news she has a problem.
Good news you know the problem.
Bad news the problem puts the person in denial.
Good news therapists.
Bad news money and or time.
If the therepy thing isnt an immediate option. I would drop the issue and start acting really, like more than you are now, into her, and as she drops weight, act less and less into her. Mind games but ehh worth a shot. WHen she brings it up just say you liked her better before she lost the weight.
ALso that **** like bunnies is a good suggestion but religion.

Look it's big red text!
Now that being said. Ponies.
In other words, as she loses weight, get less interested in her, and thus she will bring it up, and OP will tell her how he liked her better off before losing weight? I can see that backfiring and possibly ruining the relationship... then again, I'm not the OP, and I hardly know his girlfriend... but still.
Oh, here's another suggestion:
Lock all exits and bring the therapist to your house.
I'd rather do the second, it's far less shallow. And I'd love her if she was 300bs so I can't risk the first suggestion

In all seriousness, just tell her what can happen to people who are too underweight.

Or just not date someone so concerned about their aesthetic appearance. (but I don't think this is the answer you're looking for)
huzzah

Trust my I have.. many many many times
This is the only real problem. I love her to death, she is amazing in every other way!
Been there done that, she still thinks she looks fat.
10 - 20 pounds :sad.gif:
Nan, that wouldn't work. :dry.gif:
I feel honored that you are here and helping, your tutorials got me into modding. But Yeah I've tried :sad.gif:
Our religion says otherwise
I certainly will do

Why didn't you say so? Just tell her that being skinny=sin. It should work if you say it over and over for the next 20+ years.
But lying is a sin :wink.gif:
