I believe that juveniles have absolutely no business being on the Internet, let alone freaking 12 year old boys with autism.

12 year olds arn't so bad. its just when you talk, and the way you talk. the screech pierces through my ear drum, and brings bad thoughts.

OP I fully agree, though I was 12 when I started to be a serious user of the internet, and a few months later I was 13 ^,^.

I believe that all 12 year olds arent annoying, but instead the annoying ones to me are the ones that put posts up saying how they hate getting any grief from players about their age in-game.
I have news for them. It happens. All the ****ing time. But you have to take everything in your stride. Thats what I did.. When the guys would insult me when I was a young gamer (now 19) for being such a young person to be playing, I just made it my personal agenda to be good. Do you know how annoying it is to someone to know that have been smashed in a game by someone half or over that of their age.

Y'know how all those people giving 12 year olds grief used to be 12 years old themselves, right? Yeah, get ready 12 year olds, you're going to be ONE OF US!!!

Also, assumptions, they always make assumptions. Just prove yourself to be mature.

One last thing, don't talk like this. Example: "yo, i wated to know how to ban grefers in ma sever. help plox!1! also, how do you make furnaces?"

People bring up maturity as a way to discredit arguments and dissuade curiosity. There is little to it other than that.

Wise people know that the value of an argument does not depend on the age of the one who creates it.

I am 26 and I think it's a shame how we treat young people. We segregate them from society and constantly dismiss their voices as trivial. Yet what we don't realize is that the young are our primary source of ideas and perspectives which are the least tainted by our societies and by tradition.

We do the exact same thing to the old, too. We segregate and undervalue the very people who most often have wisdom to share.

I have to agree with most of the views expressed in this thread, with the exception of the ones saying that all people under 12 or so are stupid. I am an 11-year-old who has taken algebra II and I agree that 90% of 10-12-year-olds are people who are, well, stupid.
