I love it, great game. It has the type of fantasy-RPG elements that I hope are never added to minecraft. I don't understand how people can only play it for say 10 hours and be "done". That is the equivalent of saying you are "done" minecraft when you build a nether portal. Only time I've been able to beat any of the three bosses in Terraria was with a hacked Sunfury, and any time I try to get one of those legit I get assraped by bone serpents and fire imps in the underworld, that's assuming that my original descent from the stone layer to the underworld allows me to land on ash blocks rather than hellstone or just drop me in the lava.
That said it removes some of minecraft's frustrations and replaces it with their own; you can set your spawn point, for example, and you don't lose your inventory if you die (except a few coins, I think), but if you save and quit you return to your last spawn point.
Well, actually they are almost at the same line.
Minecraft haven't got as many items as Terraria does.
Terraria is in 2D, but Minecraft is in 3D.
Terraria is more adventure-packed.

If you can't beat any of the bosses with any weapon, then you sir suck.

hmm, an interesting prospect; I'd like to present a bit of inverse logic to this, however;
you see, The main reason I don't want to craft a billion lesser healing potions, and then jump around like a lunatic trying to kill a boss with a wooden sword (warranted I have a starfury but you did say "any weapon") is I have this precious thing that I prefer not to waste called "time" now, I know it's a bit of a logical conundrum to imply that time is valuable when talking about gameplay, but considering that for all the bosses it is probably impossible to beat them with "Any weapon" because day will break in 20 minutes, the wood sword does like 2 damage and the eye of chutlu has 3000 HP, even if we assume it takes 1 second to get a single hit off that still means it would take 25 minutes to kill it and since the night lasts 20 minutes I think it is probably impossible to beat any boss with the weaker weapons. Additionally, I would like to submit that your claim of me sucking because I cannot defeat a logical impossibility is specious at best; arguably, one could say I suck at the game, but I hardly see how it would extend to a more general "suckage" overall; after all, two things I have over most players of Terraria is a job and 10 years, so I humbly submit that it is in fact those players with so much spare time that they can devote entire afternoons to the game and feel it was productive that in fact suck if for no other reason than not having an accurate barometer to measure suckage.
Terraria is an amazing game for only 10$. I still like minecraft, but Terraria is epic for adventure games.

All right i've been thinking.. when life gives you lemons, don't make lemonade, MAKE LIFE TAKE THE LEMONS BACK. GET MAD! I DON'T WANT YOUR DAMN LEMONS! WHAT AM I SUPPOSED TO DO WITH THESE?
Who likes threads in the wrong section.
Ill give you a hint:
Now that being said. Ponies.
People who haven't played minecraft.
should not be compared to minecraft
One is 3-D
I think they're just too different, it's like comparing mortal kombat to blazblue in a way.
I did a little fixing.
OnTopic: Both.
You seriously don't know what something is? ON THE INTERNET?! Google it.
lol i found out just then....it looks like well sheet.
Minecraft does brown stinkies on that game.
(trying not to say anything offensive)
Try playing it first at least
:eyeroll:
[insert something offensive here]
...What? It wasn't offensive.

I suck?
I'll just go cry in a corner then, okay?
