It's 288, but we already had a thread like this. You took this right off know-your-meme by the way. I strognly suspect based on your past actions that you're looking for violent reaction.

No I didn't get it off of Know-Your-Meme, I've been told about this math problem earlier today.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I finally get to make another account after I got permaban'd like a year ago ;p
We had one almost identical to this a couple of days ago, but I'll just show my proof:
Given: 48/2(9+3)
Solve parentheses/brackets first: 48/2*12
Solve Exponents (none): 48/2*12
Solve multiplication and division in the order they come, left to right: 24*12 ---> 288
And we're done with 288. This is the global method of doing things (division has same precedence as multiplication, addition the same as subtraction), and if you ever look at a reputable equation this is how they want you to read things. But this is still a badly formed math problem.
What is the solution?
Mod edit: Thread over, thread locked :3

Wolfram agrees.
