Yup. I crushed one of the damaged CPU's i had lying around with a 20-pound(or something) wrench to vent.
Here's a picture
The CPU core pretty much disintegrated into thousands of tiny fragments.(not pictured) (i'm probably gonna die from the toxic things in them)
It was a 1.5Ghz Pentium M. For the record.

Do not wallow do not stall
Time waits for none at all
Your allowance may crawl,
It may fly or even vanish
But none will seem more lavished
Than time lost to all.

Would that not be more reason to crush it, find out how it reacts >:3
Sometimes i am amazed at how people abuse technology, even still in this case, people waste/throw away millions worth of computer parts, i just wish i could take them all home and make a supercomputer out of them all.

you will have to forgive me because this is off the top of my head. but it is a complex piece of silicon with tiny (32 nm) logic gates and microscopic wires capable of binary logic. a CPUs quality is determined flops, or floating point operations per second.

The framing of this circle on the ground
Brings whirlwinds, tempests, thunder and lightning.
The central processing unit of a computer. The main thing that's used to make your computer work.

I for one want to know how to implement old technology into artistic pieces. I got a wireless bridge that some other people fried. There are many possibilities! I just don't see them. :sad.gif:
Hmm.. OP, you make me want to smash the old scrap pc tower under my bed. Where should I start. The video card, hard drive, or CD drive? Or a sledgehammer to the whole motherboard?

Instead of smashing your way in, carefully disassemble it, you get a better view of what is going on, and then you can still smash it afterwards.

Take it to a gun range and take potshots at it until satisfied.
I once destroyed an old broken TV that way.

I already took it apart, then proceeded to reassemble it, six times actually. I grew bored with it and that's why its under my bed. It's junk though. :tongue.gif:

Sounds like a plan, but I rather watch as my helpless hard drive gets smashed to smithereens. :biggrin.gif:
