While I wait these last 6 minutes for DA:II to become downloadable, I shall make this Folk Metal thread. Do not worry, I'll come back to this often. Folk Metal is the best musical type in the world, in my opinion.
For those of you who saw the words "Folk" and "Metal" combined and went: "What the hell!?" Yeah, that's right. That guy has a skull on his bagpipes. I dare you to find something more kick-ass than that.
For established Folk Metal lovers:
What the hell? Finntroll has an acoustic album?

The german band Equilibrium is one of my favorites, mainly for Mana:

It's either Swedish or Finnish pirate folk metal.

Celtic folk metal. I think they're from elsewhere, though.

I think they're supposed to be shamans. (The lead singer is a Saami, after all.)

I don't even know. I think they're... historic metal. A lot of their songs are based on events in Scandanavian history.
I term them "folk metal" very loosely, they use trumpets more than real "folk" instruments.
