I have epilepsy and no one believes me. It's no mental disease but still. My english teacher flickers the lights for like 5 seconds when there is a spelling test and I keep telling him I have epilepsy and he just stares with a what-the-****-you-little-liar-dont-you-be-lying-like-that-again-because-that-is-a-serious-disease-and-it-isnt-something-to-joke-about kind of look.
Schizoid. I'm not sure that counts as Insanity, but I've been diagnosed with SPD. feelsbadman.jpg
I can't show (or feel) empathy, I don't really care about IRL friends and I can act like a proper asshole at times.
Huh, and yet your sig has "Friendship is magic".
I'm assuming you still get enjoyment from social interaction, as you are posting here? :tongue.gif:

Hmm. The solution here is obviously to wait until it causes a seizure, then either sue the school or find a way to guilt-trip the teacher about it. Staring into the lights ought to help the process along.

All humanity is insane. Nobody is spared or superior than another.
I disagree. Most normal people are *much* better than those who are crazy enough to need pills and such to not pose a threat to themselves and the general public.

~ I've thought about the phrase 'Money is the root of all evil' and I have to disagree. Evil isn't dependant on an object. I say that want is the root of all evil.

You must be insane to tell someone to deliberately try and have a seizure!
Never been diagnosed if thats what you mean...
I belive i am slightly off however.
Not as bad as my friend, though.

making up any sort of disorder is often a cry for attention.
Yes, but couldn't the unreasonably high need for attention, combined with a total disregard for how one gets it, be itself considered a disorder? Sort of a Bizarro-world version of Narcissistic personality disorder?

Or it could just mean that person needs some friends.
I have social anxiety disorder. I can't talk face to face with people other than my family and close friends, I just get the heebejeebies and mumble a lame excuse. It's not insanity, but it's an annoying thing.
So I lurk around here where no one can stare at meh.
You realise if you ask like 90% of people if they have a mental illness they'll pull something out of somewhere? People seem to think that being sad instantly = clinical depression, being neat/tidy = Obsessive Compulsive, being shy = social anxiety disorder/autistic, feeling apathetic = sociopathic etc.
I'm not saying they aren't real "disorders". I'm saying there are too many people who convince themselves they have some kind of mental illness just because mental illness seems to have become the new "cool club", and everyone seems to want in on it.. Meanwhile there are people who probably really have these conditions who can't get help because of people clogging up the system who don't even need help.
By the way, IMO a "personality disorder" is the most ridiculous concept I've ever heard of. It's called a personality.

..oh wait.
I'll go with what Jeffry said.
But then again, insane people rarely acknowledge that they are insane.
So when someone says they are, they're most likely compensating for how dull they are by saying that they have some mental deficiency.
I belive i am slightly off however.
