You know they used to use sleep deprivation as a type of torture?
Every time a person would start to nod off, they'd wait until they're just barely asleep then BOOM huge loud noise like a fire alarm. It can easily drive a person insane, or even kill them.

Yes. I have breasts, I was born with a uterus, I am female. Quit saying I'm a "dude".
I used to drive truck, and because I agreed to a delivery that I really shouldn't have, I ended up doing a 40 hour stretch myself.
Thursday PM
- took a Canadian Tire load to North Bay (N. Ontario for those that don't know), sleep for the night
Friday
- wake up at 9am, walk into store to see how things are going, they're unloading another driver from my company.
- back into the dock sometime after 10, start hand-bombing the trailer, nearly everything is loaded on the floor
- because the people in Receiving are always slow to unload (and they've admitted this to me in the past) we finish up some time after 3pm. I spend another half hour for a circle check and other things I need to do before leaving.
- drive nearly 2 hours north to Cobalt, switch my empty trailer with one full of bales of wood shavings. 30-40 minutes doing that.
- start heading south, only stopping in North Bay for 5 minutes to use the bathroom.
Saturday
- arrive in Mississauga about 12:15am, drop the trailer in the yard (5 minutes), head for home
- arrive at home terminal about 1:30am, may have fueled up at that point, then loaded my gear into my pickup and head for home, get there by 2:30am
- too wired to sleep, so I go on the computer for several hours
- from about 10am on, I help set up the nearby community hall for by brother's buck and doe that night, and do other various running around for it, including the acquisition of vast quantities of alcohol.
- go home around 4pm, shower, change and wait
- buck and doe starts around 8pm, goes on until nearly 2am. I've never been much for parties or crowds of people, So I spend most of the evening at the front door to take tickets and money. I'm pretty much in an undead daze by the end.
Sunday AM
- around 2 am, start cleaning up the hall, because there's another event later in the day, we can't leave it till morning,
- load my pickup and get out of there around 3am, drive home (only a 5 minute walk away), then start to unload the pickup
- finally crash into bed shortly before 4am.
let's see
woke up sometime around 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning, stayed up all day, and then stayed up all night to 6:30 am.
was doing an all-nighter on a forum, but after going into the livingroom i fell asleep for 5 hours or so
I believe Charlie Sheen has you all beat, I heard him say in a 20/20 interview that he stayed up for 7 days on drugs. That guy should be lucky he is still alive.
