A poll, a discussion, and a fan base for Tron:Legacy
I thought the soundtrack was phenomenal. Always loved daft punk. Even since I was in elementary school. I thought their rolls as DJs in the club in The Grid. As soon as I saw the duo, I my face was :iapprove:. That whole scene with the club fight and Zeus turning out to be a traitor.
In the beginning, when I saw Jeff Bridges face CGed, there was a face on me. The syncing of the mouth was a bit off on some minor parts. And his face seemed stiff in close-ups, even when he's talking. They did a nice job on it, don't get me wrong on that.
I was disappointed on how they didn't bring a Bit back. Yes, there we're little figurines on Kevin Flynn's shelve in his dojo. The little guy always put a smile on my face.
The casting was good. Enough about that. (That wasn't sarcasm)
The idea of perfection displayed in the movie was spot on. It's impossible to achieve, and it is always in front of us.
I won't critique the movie. It entertained me for the duration and that's good enough for me. The soundtrack was excellent... for a soundtrack. I'm hungry for more. A real album or a tour. I'd settle for either one. I want to hear more Daft Punk.

I'm listening to the Soundtrack right now. The iTunes one. F.y.i there are three forms of the soundtrack. iTunes (I Think 2 exclusive tracks), Amazon (3 exclusive, I think), and the special edition European soundtrack, with 5 exclusive songs, and a Behind the Scenes disc, this I know for sure.
Daft Punk was perfect to choose as well, the soundtrack is just awesome. I heard some people say Tron Legacy's plot was hard to follow. Whatever, their loss for not paying attention to the movie.

It was awesome, simple as that.
Most people that said that obviously didn't see Tron. The first ever movie.
I almost slapped my friend after he told me that Tron: Legacy was stupid. I asked why. He said... Because I didn't get it. I continued to ask, have you seen the first one? No, he hasn't.

Of course it was awesome. The cast makes a movie for me. I am just curious what will happen to the iso girl. Will she be pretty much human or is she more intelligent? You people think she will be in the sequel?
Personally I don't think there should be a sequel for another 5 years or so, Just keep making Tron movies every 10 years would be awesome. The reason I think that is because sequels usually suck.
The director of Tron Legacy said they are already writing a new script for the sequel to Tron Legacy. If it actually goes through or not, who knows.

After "Tron Legacy" was crowned box-office king with a $43.6 million haul on its opening weekend, naturally the "Tron" talk shifts toward the sequel question. There's already a script in the works, so when MTV News had the chance to chat with one of the power players in the discussion — director Joseph Kosinski — we asked if he's thought about a sequel.
"Yeah, and I think we've created a world that has a lot of possibilities in it," he said. "It was important to me that we created those connections back to the original film. If audiences are interested in this movie and decide they want to go back, and we can find the right story and a way to push the envelope again, I would definitely consider going back."
In addition to bringing back stars Garrett Hedlund and Olivia Wilde, one character that seemed as though he could have a part in the continuation of the story is the briefly appearing Edward Dillinger (played by Cillian Murphy), a rising star at ENCOM, the ominous tech company at the center of "Tron" mythos.
"I'm a big fan of his," Kosinski said when asked how Murphy joined the project. "I'd been talking to him about a way to get involved in the movie from the beginning, and this opportunity came up, so I asked him to be a part of it, and he was excited to do it," Kosinski explained. "So I'm thrilled to have him in there."
"Cillian Murphy — we were so lucky to have in this film," Wilde said. "His part in 'Tron Legacy' is so mysterious and cool. His role really fits into the mythology of 'Tron,' the corrupt environment of ENCOM. It just shows you that this fight is far from over."
Wilde has also said that she'd be game for another "Tron" movie, particularly exploring how her character, Quorra, would adapt to the human world.
"I'm so thrilled to play with Quorra in the human world. It would be sort of like 'Splash,' " she said, referring to the '80s comedy starring Daryl Hannah as a mermaid unleashed in Manhattan. "I want to see her whispering to laptops and hugging toasters. ... There's a whole other chapter ahead."
