"You talk to God, you’re religious. God talks to you — you’re psychotic."
Somewhere on my USB Stick I had the idea for a psychological horror game. If I recall correctly it was the story of a man trapped inside his own mind. He worked on a drug supposed to revolutionize neurology, but it was corrupted by his coworker and he was trapped, abused and used as a guinea pig for new iterations of the serum.
To get out of his mind he'd have to face the phobiae he acquired during his drugged time. You'd enter rooms that thematize a single phobia. Each room contains puzzles and enemies related to this fear, a fragment of your mind (mirror) and a boss. Like Acrophobia: Your mirror is terribly afraid of touching the ground and occasionally you see from his eyes, that the floor seems like an endless drop. The stage consists of mostly jumping and climbing puzzles at high heights and the room containing the boss and the way to your mirror are platforms hiiigh over a city scape... and if you fall you have to witness the whole fall until you hit the ground.
It ranges from simply unnerving to pretty graphic. I oughta continue on that file. Is hella fun. You can get some really evil stages out of some fears, like Scopophobia, Paranoia, ....hemophobia. Even claustrophobia. Imagine watching being crushed by slow moving walls from first person, just to wake up in the hub again.

And like the baseless fabric of this vision, the cloud-capped towers, the gorgeous palaces, the solemn temples, the giant Screen itself, all of which we inherit shall dissolve. And, like an insubstantial pageant faded, leave not a byte behind.
I think the fact people are taking Anthromorphic Animals so seriously is less of a fear, but more of a worry that humanity went down the pan a few years ago.
I bet google block that image because he is wearing one of their t-shirts too. Who wants to be associated with that?
It's a trend. People photoshop lotus seeds into human skin making it look out right disgusting.
At picture 1: Looks like the wall has hair. It gave me chills thanks to my arachnophobia. XD
But seriously.
Google wouldn't block something because it's somewhat smearing.
Unless of course, they want to be hated on by everyone.
Considering they actively are against the blocking of things in China, you're right. Especially as the things they are told to block are things like the history of China and the scandels. But my original comment was more of a joke anyway.
Yup.
Besides, if I had a rabbit-man working at my company, I'd make him the mascot.
But seriously.

You realized Google stopped not censoring searches in China, right? They had to renew their license for business in China, and the Chinese government basically told them they couldn't renew unless they started censoring searches again. When faced with the choice between doing the right thing and losing their Chinese user-base, they chose to stop doing the right thing.
They moved to Beijing. It has a different system of law, so they could continue uncensored. Or at least that's what i read, it could be outdated (it was an article form 2010).
Still, its not like company's google owns don't censor things. Like youtube, the ToS are so vauge, they can remove a video, or ban you for however small of a reason, and dont even have to tell you it. There has been alot of controversy over it, i think they gave up partially when people simply made fake accounts and mirrored anything they blocked. There's a whole lot of **** going on around the more serious of the youtube comunity, and DMCA's (digital millennium copyright act) were a real problem, as anybody could use fake information and file one, get the stuff removed, and to fight it you have to give your personal information to the person who filed it, and if that's a fake account, your personal information just got taken. People can also file one, then retract it for the same effect.
Anyway back on topic.
Where is that sig/avatar from? Its freaky.

People are obviously a bit of overenthusiastic with using the word phobia.
It's true. I think Acrophobia doesn't actually exist since any fear of heights is completely justified.
A phobia is an Irrational fear, in the case of Acrophobia, it would mean that you won't even go upstairs in a building because of it being off the ground.
ITT: I try to scare everyone
Slowly scroll down.
