Well, recently I've been doing a lot more stuff around town, hanging out with friends, and finding myself with less time at the computer. I guess I'm unconciously preparing myself for the world where I won't be able to be in front of the computer constantly.
Now, however, this day in particular, there's nothing to do, so I just hide behind the pale screen of lights which is my monitor. However, I can't find myself playing games, and all I do is check youtube, listen to movie soundtracks over, and over, and post on forums, or just look at developing games.
Someone say something that will make me want to play a game, or something.
I would play Minecraft, but I don't feel like spending the time to harvest stuff right now...
The exact same thing's happened to me.
It's simply not interesting anymore, I'd rather go out and do something substantial. Watch a movie, work out, hang out, practice guitar, go shopping. I guess it's simply realizing that the games were only placeholders for what you really wanted.

Do not wallow do not stall
Time waits for none at all
Your allowance may crawl,
It may fly or even vanish
But none will seem more lavished
Than time lost to all.
My games intake has dropped with age. Main reason I think is... I played too much stuff in my 21 years of life. Now, I'm pretty much playing rehashes and clones. NOTHING IS THAT INTERESTING NOW. Besides, my gaming addiction cost me an arm and a leg...
However... Minecraft for a good deal of time and it still does at moments, brings me back playing. Hard.
I can count the number of (reasonably big) games I've ever played on both my hands. This is due to my parent's lack of gaming interest, and financial position, so they never really bought games for me when I was young. Around beginning of high school, when I became more acquainted to the internet, and friends, I discovered more about gaming, but still wasn't as involved. Now there's a lot of games I wish I could play. But can't. However, my gaming interest has only kept growing.

Animator, artist, asian, australian, bookworm, brother, christian, dancer, drummer, gamer, graphics designer, muso, ninja, programmer, traceur, web designer. Sup mate. Go ahead, ask me a question. Something random ;D
I do a lot of stuff, and my sailing team occupies a lot of my time, but I always manage to play games in my downtime.
Usually Sunday is lazy day. Though I love playing a diverse cross section of games, I typically stick to FIFA. My gaming trend lately has been consisting of two games that I binge on. Fifa, and whatever else. It used to be Fifa/Mirror's Edge, then I beat Mirror's Edge. After that, it has gone: Dirt 2, Assasin's Creed 2, Fable 2, Left 4 Dead 2, and now I'm on to Minecraft.
I have a feeling that now I'm gonna be balancing FIFA/Minecraft/Whatever else I happen to pick up next. I can't see minecraft being anything less then a crack addiction along with FIFA.
Some little ******* beat me with England last night, and I NEED revenge. (I'm a Germany fan, and dedicate myself to Germany.)
While I don't believe I've lost interest in playing MC, I've certainly spent more time in these forums than playing it overall for some reason. And here I thought it was MC itself that would be addicting, but no!
It was the forums! Notch's evil plan to conquer the world is working after all. MC's just the decoy...
I am in the same position as the OP,If I understood his post correctly
I got 9 games installed in my PC and plenty more in discs which I never completed
I got GTA 4,GTA SA,X2,Death to spies,RE4,Morrowind,Oblivion,Black and white and Fable.
I have completed none of these and really wanna do it but I just cant make myself to launch the exe file for any game.
Oh yeah,And I am bored with minecraft and its lagginess
I think it is better than addicted to games, Abbyratsolee. I have lose a lot from my MMO addiction years ago, feel glad now I'm bored with most games after like 20 hours or less playtime. I am terrified now that I'm addicted to minecraft-- because I'm self-employeed and have to feed four mouths-- can't figure out why this happen.

Or buy a new game that looks awesome, like Civ V (which already has a lot of little mods that make it so much better :happy.gif:).

See? I'm not so malicious...
