Interesting thread. On what the OP asked, I'm completely cool with those who enjoy same sex relationships. In fact, many of my best friends are Gay or Lesbian. If they want to get "married" (a term that I believe should be abolished from any sort of lawbooks), then that is completely fine by me.
I don't understand how people could be so cruel to want to take the rights of people away from them, over some words in a book or some twisted since of moral superiority.

Also, I'm not fond of gay music. Not because it's gay, because I just don't like the way it sounds much. I'm still not sure if Coburn are gay or not, but oh well.

What other word would you use for it then?
Civil Union or something similar. That goes for all couples who are viewed as together for purposes of laws and sharing of property and what not.

I <3 you ShadowDusk. Yes, Civil Partnership was the phrase I was looking for. :smile.gif:

What the **** is gay music? I'm pretty sure you made it up.

Music made by gay people I think. Like the YMCA or In the Navy.
Before you get all pissed off that I questioned your bisexuality, that's not what I'm trying to do. I've just noticed a lot of "Hip" bisexuals in real life, so I was wondering if it was the same here.
I can spot those people a mile away, at least in real life. Shallow as hell.
But it's a lot more of a problem with females than it is with males.

Cliff is a guy, who is a trap(bisexual who likes crossdressing), sorta scary... D:
I keep getting confused about that, so I decided Cliff is a bit of every sexual orientation mixed together into some kind of a frankensteinish sex smoothie topped with furry.
Problem solved.
You forgot pedo...*wink*

I have no problem with gays or lesbians whatsoever and despise the Christianly/republican types who attack gays, calling it wrong. I see no reason why gay marriage shouldn't be available in all areas.
I know people who claim to be totally down with homosexuality, but then whenever any celebrity or person that regularly shows up in the news comes out of the closet, they act completely scandalized and shocked. Moon logic! HOW DARE OTHER PEOPLE HAVE PERSONAL LIVES

Persevering businessmen like myself will not be dissuaded by such baseless criticism and naysaying.
I don't get why some people dislike drag queens and crossdressers so much
It's not so much " HI EVERYONE I AM GAY!", as "I like wearing dresses because I think I look nice in them"
"People can have whatever sexual orientation they want so long as they don't enforce their views on me."
That's my opinion on it.
I'm also fine with any type of marriage so long as it's between consenting adults. Even polygamy is fine by me.
Listen, to anyone who is straight and opposes gay marriage. Put aside all religious concerns, because (if you're in America) those are protected by the first amendment. If you were in a country where most people were gay and married as such and you were straight: You want to marry someone of the opposite sex. The country tells you that's not OK. What do you think of that?
There is no reason to disallow gay marriage.
There is no reason to discriminate against gay people.

in my opinion it's morally wrong...And if one of my children was one, I wouldn't allow their wife/husband to visit.
Why is it morally wrong? ... That seems awful close minded of you.
Sidenote: I'm straight and male.

I think gays and lesbians are all cool. They can do what they want and i'm fine with it, as long as it doesn't involve breaking the law or infringing on others rights. Honestly, i don't get why gays and lesbians are so outcast in society, I mean really, they like people of the same gender, is that so bad?
Also, the bi/gay/lesbian community on this forum is awesome. (Especially wormy, she's ****ing great.)
But I've seen some gay people (I know there's regular people that do this too.) that make out ccrazily in public and throw themselves on each other melodramatically. That just makes me sick. :S

That's cause they want everyone to know they're gay. I find it annoying. I'm perfectly fine with gay people but you don't have to yell it on the roofs.

My response is going to be fairly obvious since i am gay.
Honestly, i don't mind the people who have some reason to dislike gays/lesbians. I'm sure they have some reason, and i would be biased to say they can't feel that way. I'll never forget when i saw the documentary "out in the silence" where a gay couple and a pastor(who had a background that didn't support homosexuality) 's family were able to put aside there differences and still be friends.
All this being said I'm still going to go for marriage, but i don't think any less of whoever is against it (on that note, I'm strongly opposed to the idea of people being forced, under law, to perform a homosexual marriage).

You don't like Village People?

Only two of the Village People were actually gay.

A trap is a male of any orientation with a body that passes for female (Aside from the obvious bit).
On top of that, I don't even think Cliff has ever said he's into crossdressing. Could be wrong, though.
Yeah but they basically started off catering to an exclusively gay crowd before they went mainstream, at least that's what I remember reading.
