Just would need a bat to execute the minecraft java files in the %temp% folder, if you copy them to your flash. I was going to do the exact same thing m'self. (I'm still trying to figure out just how to do that, though..)
I'm currently attending my Freshman year in high school. My Computer class is elementary ****, so I'm done with an hour and a half to spare.
I tried logging on to the MineCraft website, but it's blocked on our ****ing filter.
Would it be at all possible for me to maybe load up a flash drive with the Java file and a client and play that way? Would it be legal?
Use something like backdoor proxy or this awesome fake scholar site, but its really a hidden proxy. I'm not too sure of the name, but it will fool your school's filter.

The teacher doesn't even let us on Paint. Of course, she's pretty computer illiterate.
