I downloaded GreaseMonkey for Firefox after seeing Google Chromes custom header thingys and thought "I want that for facebook". So I checked a few scripts and modified them (removing most of the code and re-writing it) and I got this:
I think it's a pretty neat script, the first one uses a header height of 64px (Default 34px + 30px padding for extra image space) the second uses a 101px header, the last pixel is a single black pixel divider.
I got the header image for the second one from csquids site, www.hrimg.co.uk.
The image for the first was a google search of the first game that popped into my head. Stupid Destructoid writers.
I'm Taiwanese, if it's relevant.
Anyways, is there any Greasemonkey script that blocks stuff like those annoying quizzes/survey thingies?
And I presume that is your profile and your picture. Are you sure you want to show random internet people a real life picture of yourself?

There is already another on this forum. Not that it really matters anyway.
Well I can't make JUST those hidden without hiding everything else.
It's possible to do but it's really complex (as far as I can tell).
I'd probably do something like: scan all DIVs with the id div_story_* then check their contents for a link to http://apps.facebook.com/* then remove the parent DIV that holds the entire stories contents.
But that would be both slow and extremely complex to write, and it's still not perfect as it will also hide some app notifications that you might want too.
The problem is there is no unique properties about the apps stories and the human-created ones.
On second thought, there is tag called data-ft, which contains an app_id number. You could check for that I suppose. It still wouldn't be perfect though.
In the picture, the second one from the right is the hottest... sorry, I should say something relevent.
uhm.......
Is there anywhere I could get this script? And if so, how would I change the image?

I wouldn't listen to a thing I say. I'm probably insane.

You can't but I am learning some more stuff today, so I might modify the script so you can set the header image in your account settings. Only problem is, because the script loads resources from outside sources it can cause the https to flip out and you get cut-off sometimes.
Okay I wrote a script which allows you to change the URL. But apparently I can't use it on the HTTPS page (some security protection measure or something that blocks it idk). -.-

I'll leave THAT to your imagination. :wink.gif:
Now really, with random internet guys, there's bound to be some guy whose imagination is a bit too wild, if you know what I mean by that.
