Games like Dear Esther where the gameplay basically consists of walking from one place to another and nothing else, or games like Proteus where the gameplay consists of walking around a world that looks nice but nothing else.

"Against all the evil that Hell can conjure, all the wickedness that mankind can produce; We will send unto them... only you."
Colored text indicates in-character statements/actions. Because Forum Games has basically just been a big open RP for a long time now and it's the only place I ever post anymore, when I post at all.
This isn't exactly an unpopular opinion but it still ties to my general dislike of overexposed games like Undertale but anyway, I dislike when people mis-credit the original author of something and are extremely biased to the more 'popular' choice. If you don't know what I mean look at the comment section of this:
(Couldn't find the original, version of this though but whatever, this is the one with the most views.)
As well as this: (The original Touhou version and the Undertale version compared side to side.)
It just really bugs me when people think the Undertale one is the original.
@ZeBlueDevil since quote system sucks: If you hate Pokemon and don't know how it got popular then you need to learn capitalism.
Quote system could be better, but I never said I hated it. I used to love getting the cards and trading those, but everybody's obsessed with the game and are absolutely amazed that I've never played them as if anyone who hasn't hasn't really enjoyed life. I can understand how it got popular (golly, every time we went to target I'd just look at the Pokemon cards), but I don't understand how people seem to think of it as something that everyone likes and has played it.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
Pokemon GO is arguably a craze (I'm beginning to wonder if more people play it than the later main series core games) but Pokemon in general is popular simply because it appeals to people who like catching and fighting creatures.
When your game beats Tinder by two-times the subscription of the dating service and is on the way to beating Twitter mobile use it's safe to say it's beaten the "traditional" mobile games.
Is this really an unpopular opinion though? Last I checked it's being pretty well received, apart from PC issues.
Critically it seems to be well received, but there's lots of people who hate the game for its price tag, its lack of multiplayer and its repetitive nature.

My battle.net is Kirbyintron#1254, if you want to play some Overwatch with me.
My avatar is a sprite of Mr Saturn from the Earthbound/Mother series of Role Playing Games.
I mean it explains the philosophy of life.
don't take your morals and center your life around a game.

I actually enjoy watching the show 'The Big Bang Theory'.
As do I.
I have seasons 4-7 on DVD and need to watch season 8.
Wait for time

I like No Man's Sky. I just like to explore space and see space stations.
Remember, licking doorknobs is illegal on other planets!

I also tend to dislike anime, for personal preference based reasons.

Boruto?
Do you mean Naruto? Because I remember Jaryah teaching him an ability called rasenrangan or something like that.

You dislike anime and still know more than I do.
I think tomatoes are the most disgusting food ever. Even in pizza
And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.
I don't understand nor care why people put so much thought, research, and debate into cars.
Like, if it's a good price and is of quality above average, I'd buy it!
Me and you buddy, I also really hate pineapple.
Mulp deserves a second star.
