Yeah, the show has gotten really good since the first couple of episodes; and considering recent "spoilers" and leaks it is getting even better. Though if you wanted to watch them all in one sitting, I'd wait until summer is over since they are doing a new episode every weeknight for the next few weeks... So basically the entirety of season 3 and maybe part of season 4.
I blazed through the first two seasons in about a week and then realized that season 3 had just started. Although i can't watch episodes as soon as they air since Turkish TV is unreliable.
RPGs and Platformers are my favorite genres. Been playing a combination of Terraria, LoZ: A Link to the Past, Earthbound, and Kirby's Dream Land 3 over the past few weeks. Although I'm primarily focusing on hatching a shiny female Combee on Pokemon Omega Ruby right now. I used to invest a lot of time into MMORPGs but I sort of started to stray away from PC gaming after focusing on it for a good ~5 years.

Actual question:
How do you keep on playing Earthbound after you come to the realization that "Yes, it's interesting and very quirky, but by god this is some absolute trash tier turn based combat."

I wouldn't know about it being trash-tier, since the only other turn based RPG I've played is Pokemon (not even competitively, or at least not yet) but I am really digging Earthbound's soundtrack and story line so far... at least enough to not notice anything wrong with the combat yet; though I did die a lot first starting out but that was mainly because I didn't realize I could put certain enemies to sleep that would keep calling out for adds.
By the way, the name Zak_inc sounds familiar for some reason... didn't I breed you a Friend Guard Cleffa awhile back?
Kool. Sounds pretty similar to a game I made about 6 years back called "Please Help Me, I'm Lonely and Dying". 10/10 game recommended to me by myself but 0/10 according to my old psychiatrist so it has received some mixed reviews over the years.
Grabbed a Pop-Tart and took a shower. Anyone else ready to start a new day? Or for those of us who live in different time zones, how is your day going?
Overclockers have them for just under £300
What games do you people like to play?

I've been into Necropolis recently, takes elements from to Zelda:Wind Waker (Visuals, difficulty), Dark Souls (Combat) and Rogue's Legacy (dying)

The show is great though, love it to bits.

I'm willing to settle for FutureNyanCat =L

Mainly RTS's and RPG's but I'm a partial fan of Overwatch right now.

Forged Alliance mainly, loved Halo Wars back when I had my Xbox. I'm thinking of getting Ashes of the Singularity but no idea if my PC can handle it.
More quality posts attract users, I look at half these threads, *facepalm* and move on and not post.

Here's hoping that the revival of the chat thread will boost activity in the off-topic section.

Not really. We had a few people asking for the thread to come back so we thought why not.
CLEAR!
This is the Minecraft Forum though. How good of an idea is it to draw people away from the reason this forum exists?

Lol, now it's just going to be filled with - and not anything substantial but wow does this bring back memories
