To be fair it was Planet Coaster and it was only 11 hours away from launch.
And I've watched a ton (specifically, Nerd3) videos on it.
I'm not regretting anything, this game is amazing.
I've only ever pre-ordered 2 gaming related things, one of which was Just Cause 3, which, while good, was not at all worth it, especially since it doesn't run on my system, and the other was the Afterbirth DLC for The Binding of Isaac Rebirth, which is absolutely amazing and made me put around 230 more hours into the game.
I'll be pre-ordering the new Afterbirth+ DLC when it hits the store, but anything else, i wait for it.

Yes.
This is the first game I've ever pre-ordered because the pre-order bonuses (reduced price / more content) seemed worth it and based off the videos put out on this game marking it pretty much a complete game since after Alpha indicates a low-risk factor.
Most see an Alpha/Beta and it has a conglomerate of issues, but people defend it like "well, it's only a Alpha/Beta, they'll definitely fix these issues on release!"
But never do.
Planet Coaster though? Here's an Alpha. It's practically a full game, but missing features. Next Alpha update? Here's these features plus some more stuff! Oh, Beta? It's practically the full game, runs smooth, little bugs, still missing content and we're just going to update this baby every day.
Come 11 hours before launch with this cycle continuing on a daily basis. So it's practically a done game and I got to see the process unfold before even buying. Low-risk, good reward. Wish more pre-orders were like this (emphasizing the REDUCED price while providing MORE content).
It's been a long time but I preordered a N64 with Mario 64 and LoZ: Ocarina of Time. I don't think I've ever preordered anything since then. Or even bought anything on release day. And I took the day off of work to play Ocarina of Time the day it came out. *Sign* those days of little to no responsibilites.

Same with Overwatch. Played the beta and it was flawless, so I pre-ordered it.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
You bloody well know how to please a man of my nationality. I'll be smashing the cans of VB tonight.
I mean, I only need get 20% in this exam and I'm laughing
Yeah, I will have a 2 day school week and have at least 5 days off, so we got plenty of time. This weekend I have to go out and buy a new washer and dryer also.
We have 3. Tis' a shame that modern America doesn't appreciate one of its most important holidays.
Would having chicken quesadillas for Thanksgiving instead of turkey be appreciable? I've been craving one for the past couple days, but am not enough of a cooking person to try and make one myself.

I don't eat meat, as I think it is barbaric (don't get into an argument about me about that please) . Serious. But go for what you want, I won't stop you.
Ah, you do you, but I could never imagine not eating meat. It's incredibly satisfying, and if you have qualms about eating a 'living thing' then by that logic you should only be able to eat dirt as plants themselves are living things. They're actually really fascinating creatures. In fact, I've seen a couple documentaries on them and they really make them come alive.

That and they can't defend themselves. You're a sadistic monster if you believe in ripping them from the ground and consuming them, even evolving your ears to not detect the frequency of their screams.

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.

Oh, I thought Afterbirth Plus was going to be a free update, as it doesn't provide a lot of content besides modding tools and charging people for modding tools is just silly.
-55+ new items (yes im counting trinkets as items, always have always will!) -new final chapter, boss and ending (yes i said chapter, not area) -new playable character -greed hard mode -daily greed runs -5 new challenges -loads of new achievements -a few new bosses and other little additions

At least we can still talk about how peeved we are.

I preordered Planet Coaster because it had a pretty decent preorder discount. Also the alpha had pretty good reception and RCT3 was my childhood
Thanks bud, last exam's in a few hours. I'm ready to kick some statistical butt
Is that a euphemism for something? My Starlight, at least take me out to dinner first

What an end.
My DeviantArt, so sexy

How do you know if someone is a vegan/vegetarian?
You're joking, right?
I literally just showed you a more comprehensive list.
Christ this semester was a tough one, I've never felt this good about finishing exams.
I feel so high up, got my chin up,
I don't care if I ever come down.
