The concept of a chat thread died long ago, this was taking a corpse and turning it into a marionette.
I mean realistically it only died because it was ripped from our very hands because it was 'best for the community' or some crap, and now that the forums are dying, hey look the chat thread is back.
Something similar happened with my Windows installation. Deleted my old Linux partition which was also my active boot partition and forgot to set my C drive where Windows is installed as the active boot partition. Needless to say, I bricked my Windows. Fortunately, I was able to boot from my USB and run Startup Repair. Fixed in 5 minutes and didn't have to reinstall anything.
Lucky, I did that while uninstalling Mint and I didn't have a usb. I used boot repair on Ubuntu and ****ed my Windows partition beyond belief
Really the main thing carrying it until then was a few old members having short conversations and starlight being starlight. Then App made the discord and now everyone's being hippity hoppity over there.
