Well, it is an interesting topic! For myself, I would rather die normally. So many people devote their whole life to seek a longer life and want to lead a everlasting life. But when we are really immortal, time seems to be of no sense any more and life would be dull and boring. And what cannot be overcome is the strong sense of loneliness, forever loneliness!
If I had another immortal companion I still probably wouldn't pick it. I'm more scared of what comes after everything dies out rather than everyone I've ever loved and grown attached to over the course of trillions of years die. It's just so scary to be alone, and eventually me and my companion are going to get extremely dehydrated or be hungry for the rest of our never ending lives, gosh that's scary.
It would be interesting, I'd like it more though if it were like Ender in the Ender Quartet where you fly around on spaceships going super fast so you can like for 3,000 years.

All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
I'd choose to live forever, and serve as a guardian and repository of information for the human race (a.la the Giver). I'd probably need to spend the first decade or so learning to fully master my emotional state though - Hot Pockets are still my Achilles heel!
I would like to become immortal but... i rather don't die from aging. Also this would be pretty handy if i tried to do some stupid parkours and accidently falling. And would come in handy in life or death situations.

Another Giver fan? Awesome! But for the sake of staying on topic, this would be quite cool, I'd get to be the smartest person in the world.
If YOU had the option to be immortal would you? Or would you rather live a lifetime and then die?
Personally my answer would be I would rather die. But if I had a companion to be immortal with me that would be a different story.
Also you wouldn't grow old and weak if that affects your answer.
I will be immortal, because it means I will have as much time as I want to destroy the world with fire, and trumpets, and beasts, and Gog and Magog, and flooding, and who knows what else.
While I'd be afraid of losing my loved ones, I would still choose to be immortal, I would be able to see the technological advances we make, and one day, humanities demise as a whole. (:
Also, you can just live in the woods and never talk to anyone so you never become attached.

Love myself, love my life!

Oh, just like the movie Hankcock.

Yes, I'd take it. Then when the world finally ends, I'd be ready to die, having had a long, full, and invigorating life.

It depends, if my loved one can be immortal too and if I could end my life if I wished to do so then yes, I'd choose immortality.
However if I have to see my loved one die and if I'd be unable to end my immortality if I wish to then no, I won't choose that.
I want to see what the future will be like, so, yes I would take immortality.
