I just failed my Spanish final exam and I'm freaking out. I really want to get to my county high school. I'm afraid that the high school will look at that grade and hurt my chance of making the high school. Does high schools look at the Spanish grades at all? Please help by telling me if they do or not. I really appreciate it.
What kind of high school wouldn't accept you just because you failed Spanish? I'm assuming it's not a public high school if you're worried about being admitted in the first place.
high schools you mean the ones 9-12? i don't where i live you just go to high school no matter what grades then if you fail there you redo the class.

Being Spanish I doubt you will have an issue as it's not a compulsory course, due to the only official language spoken in the U.S being English. You will find that once you go into high school, grade nine will be at about the same level as the middle school courses, and only gets kicked up a notch at about grade ten when they start prepping you for the academics.
To be honest though, I'm not sure how a high school will handle your situation. I went from grade eight middle school and did only half the grade nine credits through home schooling, then jumped right into grade ten. However the advantage I had was that I was also a top student and still averaged a 3.5 GPA, and that was when I began to slack in my school work. They like students with great grades. So I would think that if your other grades are great, then they will most likely accommodate you. That's one of the advantages of high grades, regardless of the circumstances.

Thanks so much! I guess I'm fine then because my other grades are all great :D.

Yeah, the country you live in would help a lot...
I know people who are pretty much failing the core classes and they're going to high school so I wouldn't worry.
All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king
It really depends on your country you live in, and the general policies of the school.

You could always take a summer school course and/or a private tutor to get your spanish grade up to a pass.
