The sad truth is teachers don't really care how much sleep you get.
They load you up with 3 odd hours worth of homework due the next day and you don't end up going to bed until 11-12ish finishing assignments and whatnot, then having to wake up at ridiculous hours (5-6 to catch the bus) and then get to school.
I'm homeschooled, which means that I don't have several hours of homework to do. I go to a co-op on fridays and then do 8-9 hours of work on the other four weekdays.
I'm able to do well (Like, best in class well.) in highschool with only 7-8 hours of sleep every night. On average, I'd say that teenagers should aim for 8 hours, with 7 being the bare minimum.
Hope that helps you with your math project

Huh, sounds like a typical adult day to me.
A question for the OP: In what capacity is this survey useful for your math class?

This survey project is more so in the direction of graduation and life skills, rather than math related topics. How else can a teenager achieve success without a decent sleep schedule, hence my survey. "Me trying to talk professionally, even though most of my grammar is probably incorrect :P"
I usually get 7-8 hours of sleep on school days because of my alarm and then I'll get the same amount of sleep (usually) on weekends without my alarm clock. Some people need more sleep or some may need less, if you do sports or other activities like that then I would recommend you get more sleep than if you didn't play sports.

I actually get like 6-7-8 hours of sleep each night. If more than 8, I'm going to have a bad day, but if I get less than 8, even like 4 hours, I'm good. Like, once, I slept 11pm to 4am, took a 3 hour flight, and played 18 holes of golf on the same day with a 2 hour time change and I was perfectly fine. I once didn't sleep at all, took a 3 hour flight and played 18 holes of golf and was having a very normal day. However, if I sleep in, I end up with a miserable tired day,
This poll is for one of my math projects. I honestly wish I could of made a survey for minecraft instead :/

That is the sad reality. Every school period the amount of homework I get just stacks until I start to be overwhelmed and have a breakdown!
If it's possible, I believe teenagers should have at lease 8 hours of sleep each night.

I would say 8 or 9.
I haven't abandoned this forum just yet.

I get about 6-7 hours of sleep each night. I want much much more. Like 12 hours. That would be beautiful.

I wish I had 10-12 hours of sleep. Thing is teachers honestly don't actually care about you probably.

It's 8, and for children it's 10 hours.
For babies, it's NEVER!
