Welcome to my thread. Since you've clicked on it your most likely interested. Here in this thread you can discuss your country (or anothers) army and how it operates and what it has. Absolutley no racisim as it is against the MCF Rules. I will start with Ireland!
An tArm (Literally The Army) The Irish Army is a small army since we have been neutral in World War 1 and 2. Aside from the fact that some rebels of 1916 may...... have bought guns from the Germans in WW1. Anyways we are a small country with a smaller population then NYC and most other countries and cities accross the globe. We have 0 fighter aircraft, a trainer and a couple of scout biplanes. Our navy is decent.
Our strong point is our Special Forces however.
We have an excellent Special Ops called the Fianóglaigh an Airm' or Army Ranger Wing. (It's called this because there is no translation of Fianóglaigh) This squad is the only squad in the army to use guns other than the Steyr AUG. The Army Ranger Link Wikipedia can be found here.
Now it's your time to show your favourite army or police force.
Currently still one of the high ranking armies in the world I don't know much about it though
I know a bit about the SAS though (Special Air Services). They're currently one of the strongest special unit teams in the world. (This is debatable of course). Their training is brutal.
well am Canadian so are army is a um.. well not that strong. i mean right now were using cf-18 in the bombing runs against Isis
and i just read some info about are army and it turns out we are the 14 most powerful army in the world which am just shocked that we even made it on that list. but we have 200 tanks..

i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed

Still a pretty nice Jet for its age. I mean its nothing like a Typhoon but effective. I doubt it'll get shot down anytime soon.

Be lucky for what you got. Ireland does not have a SINGLE jet aircraft. Ouch.

Too bad its main weapon wont be ready until 2022
Haha our stronk Irish biplanes are equipeded with mighty machine guns.
Just joking we dont even have planes with weapons. But if the Irish Rangers got their hands on one this is what it would be like.

I don't see how cooking up a university helps in this discussion...
