The clocks have ticked over to 2015 in New Zealand and other uncivilised Pacific islands, and soon tomorrow will sweep east like a plague, violating and exterminating the thing we know as 2014, and replacing it with a shiny new year. As the year 2015 rises from 2014's ashes, it brings hopes, aspirations, goals and very messy hangovers.
So, what in your lifestyle will you change for the first couple of weeks of 2015 and proceed to conveniently forget for the rest of the year? Will you look for love? Find a new job? Cut down on the carbohydrates? Let me know.
I don't make new year's resolutions at the beginning of the year - I made all of my goals for this year in September, at the beginning of the work/school year.
My goals:
Become a better writer (enter contests, practice, etc.)
I'm on a bit of a hiatus from playing Minecraft, so I'm not so active in this forum, either. I still check it though, and participate in a few discussions.
I'm already a polyglot--in 2015 I just want to get better at it. I'm currently learning a couple of new languages with Duolingo and other resoruces and it's going really well. I hope to be conversational in these new languages by the end of 2015.
And I need to make money to get a new PC. My desktop is out of operations due to a nasty firmware problem that basically makes it impossible to render graphics at all and will cost money to have repaired by a cerfitied such-and-such, and on top of that I want to get a dedicated gaming PC too. Enough of this poverty gaming. It stinks.
I plan on becoming more outgoing and also try to find "the one". I've been in so many bad relationships, I think it's about time I find a good one.

I don't set New Year's Resolutions. The goals I set don't need a date to be set, it's just an excuse to do something later.
As for General goals, it's the usual. Build more muscle mass, make as many people happy as I can, keep my creativity alive, the usual stuff.

My avatar-Madison Gotha. She knows various weapons, she's a mage/sage, and is somewhat immortal. Madison has the capability of taming and communicating monsters, a genetic trait passed down by her father. 26 physically, 1400-something mentally, and a Lofty Peakian/Zenithian mix. Doesn't really like being called an elf and hates being called human..
I might be Moderator, but don't bother treating me too special. And don't make tons of Ban Hammer jokes, please. Also, I'm an Off-Topic only Mod. Don't ask me to lock a thread or something if it's not in the off-topic

Aside from that, I'm always on the hunt for love.
Always.
Better budgeting.
Less procrastinating on homework and labs.
My goals:

- Get better at endurance running
- Practice my painting skills
- Give back to the community

My new year's resolution is to reference less XKCD...
But in all seriousness, probably
- finish the game I'm working on
- release at least two albums/EPs before the year's end
"My New Year's Resolution is to get bigger."
*deep exhale*
Anyways, I don't really make any, but last year, the year when everything went wrong, I want to improve.
Such resolutions include:
You can just call me Canary.
