I feel like the whole post count really misrepresents how active a person is. I might only have ~1100 posts, but if you notice, I carefully format and research everything before I post it, spell check it, and provide plenty of information. Some people with 4,000, 5,000+ posts typically don't write an essay for each, but they usually answer the question in one sentence.
So in short, I enjoy having the post count due to my high level of activity, but I dislike it due to the quality, not quantity of my posts.

And who are you, the proud lord said, that I must bow so low?
Only a cat of a different coat, that's all the truth I know.
In a coat of gold or a coat of red, a lion still has claws,
And mine are long and sharp, my lord, as long and sharp as yours.
And so he spoke, and so he spoke, that lord of Castamere,
But now the rains weep o'er his hall, with no one there to hear.
Yes now the rains weep o'er his hall, and not a soul to hear.
A wise man once told me that it was not about the posting count, but the experience of posting, and being a party of the community. So, just have fun posting, and eventually your posts will go up.

In my opinion posts do mind a lot in forums, since if we're inactive it will be, like, unfair treatment or something. Other than that, I think there are more people active in this forum, and usually we're motivated by them to make posts. However, I don't really pay attention to my postcount. I just enjoy the titles and satisfy myself
It says my post count is 1,242, but if posts in the forum games section counted I'd have 10,084.
How do you find out how many posts you made in the forum games? Did you count each and every post from the very first post you made in the forum games?

I went to the "Posts" section on my profile, counted how many posts are on one page (10), multiplied that by the number of pages minus one, and added the posts from the last page (which has fewer posts than the rest of the pages).

Doesn't affect me in the least; but my dragon will die if I don't, so it's for him not me.

I do agree that it isn't quantity but quality that counts and if I don't have something to say on a thread then I won't post.
All that is gold does not glitter, Not all those who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither, Deep roots are not reached by the frost
From the ashes a fire shall be woken, A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be the blade that was broken, The crownless again shall be king

Seriously though. I post alot for these cool titles
