Hi, I have been having problems with my Logitech G930's. I record with fraps while playing Minecraft and when I play the video back it sounds very crackly and echoe-y. The previous headsets I had never did this? Any ideas on what I can do to get rid of that or prevent it? Thanks!!
You should try to make sure that your computer volume, for some reason, isn't slightly louder than the volume in your headset. The computer will play the sound just milliseconds faster than your headset and with your headset playing a very close follow up of the computer audio, a echo effect will occur. This similarly happens when someone plays their TV audio volume louder than their surround sound system of vice versa for example. The crackly can be explained by misaligned or faulty wiring within the headset's components or wiring. If the issue persists, it is heavily recommended you contact the manufacturer of the headset and look at the FAQ section or to email them for the problem. If the warranty or situation allows, you should get replacement parts or headset for the faulty one. If it still persists, it's time to get a new headset or computer.
Ok thanks I'll try messing with the volume, if not I'll try return them, thanks!
take it back to Best Buy and say that the product is faulty and they have to give you a new one.
Yep I think they might be faulty, I tried recording with my old headsets (Turtle Beach) and it came out nice and smooth. Do you know if they were just faulty or is there better headsets for recording?

I have not used the head set that you used, though when they are getting shiped it is possible the one you got fell and they took it to the store anyway.
This is likely. I had a decent headset and it was in fact faulty. Where did you get the headset from?
