Right now, of course. If you lived any time but the present, we wouldn't even have the capability to discuss this! Just a few hundred years ago, we didn't even know the Earth was round and had absolutely no way of communicating long distances. There was barely any way to learn anything at all!
That's definitely an interesting question, I'm not quite sure to be honest... I'd probably rather be part of whatever generation it would have been ten years ago, back when gaming was a bit more young in its age.
~Well, after looking at a wiki page and basically being dumbfounded at the amount of info, I guess I'd prefer to still be part of the Millennial Generation (Early 1980's to early 2000's), after all, we do have a lot of amazing technology to take advantage of, and only more progress is being made probably even as this post is being made.

The 5th or 6th century. I think the middle ages are fascinating.

I thought about this myself. If I had to choose what generation to be born into it would be the G.I. generation (1901-1924). 1900 would be my birth year. I'd hope to live to around 1960-1970, assuming I would be in good health. I could see most of the 20th century, be too young for WW I, too old for WW 2, Korea, 'Nam, etc. Living through the Great Depression would have sucked, but then again people were more self sufficient back then, and they had ways to deal with it (such as the family farm). The only other downside is that I'd probably drop off while the Cold War was still going on, without seeing it resolved.
I could understand wanting to be born in the generation we are already, but I think for the most part, modernity has been a disappointment. We sold our souls for electronic toys and office jobs. I think in another couple of generations we're going to run up against considerable resource and economic hardships anyways.

This is a toughie, to be honest.
For me, it'd have to be some time when the music I enjoy was still popular. Problem is that I enjoy way too many different types of music to choose just one.
If it's an option, modern times.
If not, I'd like to have been born around '88-'92. The 90s had the most genres of music I enjoy active at any particular moment.

Right now seems like the best time to live. Most advanced technology, and times are relatively peaceful.

This is a legacy account, meaning it is no longer active
