Obvously, gaming has impacted our life in one way or another, so why not share your story/impact?
Here's mine:
I'm not too sure about my early childhood, but my parents have told me I was a beast at Spyro. I had a PS1. I remember playing that thing for HOURS and HOURS per day. Spyro the purple dragon was my favorite game, I beat it when I was 4-5 years old I believe. I continued to play on my PS1 until I was 6-7 then I got a PS2, and boogied on that for awhile, until I was 9 and got an Xbox 360 for Christmas. This is when I started to get REALLY into gaming. My mother didn't allow me to play M games for the first part of my owning of the Xbox, so I played Avatar: The Movie until Feb, when I sold, my Wii and got MW2. This was my first rated M game, so my parents called gamestop and (they're a tad overprotective) to make sure the game wasn't super bad for me, and that I wouldn't get F'd up playing it.
So I enjoyed playing that for quite awhile, until I found out about halo in summer 2010. Jesus, I don't think I'm ever going to have more fun in my life. I was ADDICTED to Halo 3. I played it ALL DAY. I made a website (my first I believe) dedicated to Halo reach and stuff like that. (Here's the link so you can see how bad it is: http://halofanzintheworld.webs.com/) Anyway, moving on, I played Halo reach and Black Ops for the next year, then found out about Minecraft. This game took up tons of my money, time, and emotions. Like, seriously, this game... I made a server when I was 10 or 11, sometime there, and made a few friends, and had a good time. Summer of '11, I found out about griefing and ing up. I went looking for a griefing team, found one, then made a couple of enemies. That led me to signing up for HF, and getting into graphics, RATs, and all that jazz. Pretty cool.

So, yeah. Gaming has had a huge impact on my life, for the better, in my opinion.
