Suspicious about my low post count? Note my awesomeness emanating from the game code.
I would like to introduce a new Minecraft RTS (Real Time Strategy).
Minecraftia at War 2D is a top-down 2 dimensional real time strategy game, currently being developed to version 0.1.0. There are several features within the game.
Factions
Humans:
The most developed faction within the game, they have two research buildings, three utility buildings, and three unit-making buildings.
-House and Large House : Increase max population
-Farm : Provides slow, infinite food
-Library : Sharpness, Power, and Protection upgrades have two tiers of upgrades and provide various bonuses
-Smithy : Armor, Ranged, and Sword upgrades, have Iron age, Redstone age, and Diamond age upgrades.
-Barracks : Builds archers (Stone Age), and Soldiers (Iron Age)
-Town Center : Non-Buildable, researches ages, builds workers, researches wood walls and large houses
-Stables : Iron Age, builds Calvary (Iron Age), and Mounted Archers (Redstone Age)
Monsters:
The second and newest faction, not very well developed as of yet.
-House : Same as humans, different (neglected-looking) texture
-Dungeon: Main building, build silverfish workers, zombies, and skeletons. Researches ages.
-Undead Barracks: Builds Zombie and Skeleton Warriors
Ages
Wood Age:
Initial age, guards, workers, zombies, skeletons, farms and houses are buildable
Stone Age:
Second age, barracks becomes available
Iron Age:
Third age, smithy becomes buildable, same as stables and human soldiers
Redstone Age:
Fourth age, library and tier 1 enchantments and tier 2 smithy upgrades become available, mounted archers become buildable
Diamond Age:
Final age, final tier upgrades available, costs diamond that must be bought in trading
Game Mechanics
MC at War 2D has several game mechanics improving the game.
-Trading
-In the stone age, trading becomes available, where you can buy and sell stuff with emeralds, especially diamonds
-Resources
-Resources can be harvested to build new buildings and upgrades
-Commodities
-Commodities such as redstone are needed to upgrade to new ages, and emeralds are used for
upgrades and trading

You can't use the Minecraft textures, you do realize that.
You can't also use the name Minecraftia.
You know why?
Copyright.
I am not distributing the game commercially, and as far as I know, Mojang has nothing against fangames.
I'll shoot an email their way, asking if they have anything against it.
Every heard of Minecraftia : Empires?
He both uses textures and names, and I think he sent an email to them, and they didn't appear to have any problem.
This game is slow, glitchy, and unplayable. This game just doesn't work the terrain generates slowly the screen refreshes slowly and it's just is so glitchy like when I try to select units they disappear and same with terrain around those units and all I see is grass. I see you put a game out that meant to be fun and you probably put alot of time into it, but you need to fix alot of your major glitches and optimize the games speed because I am running on a badass gaming computer and this game barely runs.

Selecting multiple units does not currently work. I have currently removed it for the time being, and the version with that will be reuploaded shortly. By the way, the game needs a 1280x960 resolution. I am sorry about the slow game speed, I'll try to doublebuffer the form and see if that makes it faster. Also, in the version I'm reuploading, clicking on the background deselects all units, and you right click to move units. You also have to have a selected worker near resources to harvest them now.
I doublebuffered every form and it seems to at least run smoother, methinks your computer will be able to better use it now.

I have started work on a new turn-based space game, Minecraftia at War 2D is temporarily suspended from development.
-Graphics are stolen from Minecraft
-It looks like something that was made with Scratch
-Lrn2Photoshop
It looks just horrible. I like RTS but this just makes me want to play COD.
Make your own graphics and make it look presentable not something like someone threw together in Paint. It has some potential, but, just wow with the graphics. You dont use other people's artwork.
I also doubt the "company" is a company.
It is a Minecraft RTS.
It's programmed in an actual programming language that needs actual skill.
Paint .Net is WAY better than photoshop.
No offence but now I think about it, it looks like someone could of easily made that (well, at least the writing, etc) in Visual Basic using Visual Studio Express with no experience, you could of made a better effort.
Pffft. This is made in pascal with a very good compiler. I doubt it's even possible to make all the complexities of this game with basic.
Just because its a Minecraft RTS doesnt give it any more rights to use textures and screenshots from the game than it does Team Fortress 2 to do so.
Its nice to see that actually someone takes the time to make something in a programming language, which I do appreciate. Which language is it? I'm guessing Java/Python.
Paint.NET is (as the name suggests) a glorified edition of Paint that is good for semi-advanced Photoshopping. Photoshoping is a term that is used for generally when you modify photographs.
No, I didn't download the game, since it doesnt look exactly worth downloading.
However, this game has potential if you created your own graphics and added some ideas. I'd suggest 8x8 or 16x16 style graphics since they usually add a nice amount of detail.
Pro Tip:
Transparent textures, not white boxes.
The language is pascal, actually.
If you knew advanced programming, you would recognize those as descendants of TPanels, with images on them. Unit transparency used to work in the older versions, but is now being stupid, probably due to a bug in VCL.
Also, don't judge the game if you haven't even tried it out.
However, the arguments you made for the textures were legitimate, I'll do that in a later version when I've gotten game mechanics working.
