I'm sure there are a lot of topics like this, but I think I want to share my opinions. In case you don't know, Eden is a sandbox game for ios and survival craft is a survival snadbox game for android. So i'm going to put them up against each other in different categories.
Originality
Now this is where Survival Craft falls short. They don't even try to show that it is different from Minecraft. Eden not the most original but it has its own features that make it stand out. Probably the most noticeable feature is the ability to download maps. You can download maps in PE too but you need a third-party app to download them while Eden on the other hand has a map database to store the maps. PE is trying to take a lot from pc so nothing too new. Yes there is the nether reactor and a camera but the reactor spawns mobs from pc and you can take screenshots without the gui in the way in pc too. So the winner of this round is: Eden
Overall Look
Now i'm not doing a graphics category because they all pretty much have N64 graphics, so instead I'm going to be looking at overall look. The monsters/mobs look unfitting in the world of Survival Craft and Eden. In SC, the animal textures look blurred and since they don't have square bodies, it does kind of take away the blocky world aspect just a bit. The mobs in Eden look like they were designed by a five year old. They also look weird, and yes i know you can change their colors but to me they seem so off. The animals in PE on the other hand look like they belong there. They don't look awkward or have a weird texture. Now enough about the animals, let's talk about how a building would look. In my opinion, PE looks better. SC and Eden look good too, but PE has brighter colors and a variety of blocks to choose from. Winner: PE
Gameplay
Now this is the final category, gameplay. Now Eden is pretty limited since all you can do is build. SC and PE are very similar since they both have creative and survival. SC has MUCH more features, more mobs, and more blocks. But PE, has something special, something that drives me to keep playing. Probably because PE has no caves so it's much more rewarding to find diamonds, for me at least. Maybe Notch secretly went to Hogwarts and used his magical skills to integrate the magic into minecraft. Who knows? I may be biased when i made this decision, but the overall winner for me is: PE
Like I said, I could be totally biased about PE being the best. Please tell me what game you think is the best or tell me other sandbox games like Minecraft. Thank you for reading this post.

I think in over all, PE is the best, but I can't say I don't look at the grass, sky and sun in survival craft and think "Why can't you do that, minecraft?" Then I realize that minecraft is still being updated with features and heck, the sky and clouds have just been confirmed as features looking to be added (Even if it is for faster devices.)
But yeah, I definitely prefer PE to either of them. The interface is the deal breaker for me. It's so... simple. I like it. Survival craft's is probably one of the worst I've seen. So cluttered and messy.
I haven't played Eden, but one good thing in Survivalcraft is that Kaalaus listen to the people, we were complaining about the gray TP n' then he updated it a few weeks later, the default TP now looks bright, SC has electricity (redstone) and it REALLY changes the game! there are some good improvements for v1.2 coming but I think that what SC needs is a easier way to build huge structures like MCEdit or something so, that's what makes the difference with MC, today I'm not just playing PE but also building in the PC game and porting maps of my own or downloaded.
Pocket Edition definitely is my top pick of these. I think that PE is not a loser in the originality part. Minecraft is Minecraft. Both PE and PC are made to be close to the same in gameplay and graphics. Pocket Edition should be as close to the PC version as possible, in my opinion.
i really wonders why SC has buckets, redstone(electricity), caves, fire animation and so much more. I am a PE guy so i will chose PE as the best but i wonder why only one developer on SC(kaalus) is adding so much while i expect to wait a long time till we get all that goodies. I know there are a lot of people saying that its impossible to have it all and that it would literally melt your phone but then why does SC has it all?
Im not a programmer so i dont know why SC and PE are so different but i would really appreciate it if someone explained all the things i wrote up there.
<sorry for my english, my native language is dutch>
It could be possibly it is the programming language is different or the way they code they games are different
for me, its definitely a tie between SurvivalCraft and Minecraft PE. I do realize that mcpe is still being updated with loads of new features, but SurvivalCraft has much more right now. So, its definitely a tie for me.
Survivalcraft has pluses that PE or Eden don't have. Survivalcraft has electrical wiring, and that sort of stuff, and PE doesn't have that quite yet, which I like. I also think that the cave systems are another bonus, because I hate branch mining. Survivalcraft allows you to download maps, and has adventure maps, while Eden has the same, I don't really enjoy just creative mode all the time. Survivalcraft also allows you to download texture packs, which neither Eden or Minecraft PE has yet. Being able to ride a horse around is a plus, instead of walking everywhere. Survivalcraft's next update will include hunger, stamina, and the feature of sleep deprevation punishment. For example, if you don't sleep for a while, you become tired, and your screen will black out for a few seconds, until finally, you fall unconscious from lack of sleep. Hunger will also affect you. For the first few days, you will be able to get by without any food. But if you neglect eating, you will take damage.
Stamina is also a factor. If you do hard work, you character will need to rest every once in a while. If you swim for a while, you will need to rest, but you can just stop swimming, you will begin to sink under water and drown. You might ask, 'where might be all these gauges be at, and the answer is... There won't be any. You won't be able to tell how hungry you are until you begin to take damage, etc.
So, look into the game to the coming months, as Klaaus(game developer) will be adding more features.
If someone say that the PE is the best, i must say : LoL, u're kidding, right???
The PE has the best controls (or maybe eden), but u forgot to add stuff to your comparing... And on the sanbox apps is the stuff u can work with THE MOST IMPORTNANT thing!!! Lol and SC (now also for iOS) is deffinitelly top-class sanbox game for mobile device on the world - with electricity, every month updates, horses, map and txtpacks downloading, price ($3.99), etc... So SC is the BEST
survival craft copied minecraft pe and that is breaking the copyright law so SC is illegal making Minecraft PE better
this is for you eyes only......................................................................... i ..............................................................like...........................................................pie
maybe, i know minecraft pe is coded in C++ but does anyone know how survivalcraft is coded?
could be unity . If you dun know unity then you should see what is unity on yt or somethin its liek simple 3D game dev engine or probablly he uses game maker studio ??? Idk just thinkin

Um, iOS apps are programmed in Objective C.
Ah, I stand corrected. It actually IS C++...
I thought that iOS could only be C or Objective C.
i am ashamed

No, my mom programs iOS and it is definitely objective C
