Well I wasn't thinking of posting this before, but I'm drunk now, so here goes.
The games were fun, I enjoyed them a lot. But the real fun came from the versus mode.
I LOVED Chaos Theory's versus mode (I played a bit of PT's when it started dying out a bit. i know they're mostly similar with some changes. Whenever I refer to CT's versus I mean both of them thougn). I've probably logged so many hours in that versus that it towers over all other games I've played on the xbox combined.
Unfortunately, as any fan of it has realized, it's died out quite a bit, which is fair. I mean, it had its run, new games came out, people started to forget about it. Hell, the same thing happened to me too.
I've just recently been getting back into it and have been wrangling my friends to try it out as well, because god damn I love the versus so much. I've never played any game like it. The idea of pitching two game mechanics against each other is something I'd never seen in video games before. It was always FPS vs FPS or 3RD vs 3RD, etc. They took a challenge to pit two different types together, and by golly it worked wonderfully.
I'm posting this because I want to revive the versus mode. I want to feel the thrill, as a mercenary, hunting down the spy, falling into potential traps. As a spy, stalking a mercenary and barely managing to sneak past them. Cat and mouse.
I'm wondering if anyone would support (more just moral support) a revival or remake of the versus mode. Keep it true to its original mechanics. Not making the spy a useless tool like in Double Agent. I mean, you shoot smoke grenades at a mercenary, then slap him in the face to knock him out because he crouched to avoid being grabbed.

Anyway I'm rambling now. Too much vodka. blah
