14. im pretty sure minecraft was based of another game
I haven't really had a huge problem with Minecraft ripoffs, but this crosses the line. I have never seen a more blatant or shameless ripoff than this. The worst part is that if you read the comments on the developer's blog, he actually used multiple fake names to defend his game!
There's a line between knock off and rip off. This is the latter. There was that Xbox Live game a while ago that was extremely Minecraft like, obviously trying to ride Minecraft's success, but this is simply stealing resources and making them 2D. I suspect this app will be taken down soon.
Look people infinminer has as much right to sue mineraft mabye even more than you guys say notch has to sue crafted. So shut the hell up before you guys get a taste of your own medicine!
I ought to shoot every one of you that is trying to defend the developers of Crafted. What the developers have done is basically given Minecraft a new skin(hardly any change between the two anyway), released it in 2D, and claim that it is an entirely new game.
Wow. That game is just offensive to the greatness and success of Minecraft. While some people would look at this and say that imitation is the greatest flattery, I look at this and see a total mockery. Sometimes people take tolerance goes too far. How would you feel if someone copied your Local/Foreign Language essay homework, changed the words, and slapped their name on it and tried to turn it in as their own and claim that your paper was the inspiration? It's insulting and unethical.
There can be made no excuses for this game. It could pass if it was just a free application. However its being sold, meaning all of the stolen content is being used for commercial purposes, this just makes it a disgusting piece of software.
It's not inspired my Minecraft. It's just a 2D copy. Shameless. Looks good though.

This bit you are reading now is my signature. It's a block of text that's added to everything I post. So long as it fits within the 255 character limit of course. I think that means spaces too but I'm not really sure.
Okay, before I go into my rant, I just wanna say this, Crafted on for the IOS is a load of bull **** if you're on the edge about buying the game, it isn't real, it isn't by Mojang and it most certainly is not the version Mojang is releasing. So Crafted by domp is probably the most unfair thing I have seen in my entire life. They took advantage of Mojang in more than one aspect but the thing that pisses me off the MOST is that when someone released the sneak peek of Minecraft for IOS people immediately thought that crafted was made by Mojang. So the thing is with this game, it uses EVERYSINGLE RECIPE, which is EXACTLY THE SAME. Notch said he doesn't mind people who copy his idea of sandbox, he doesn't mind competition. But this game rips of everything Minecraft is, and I just find that since Mojang is only one year old, the fact that you would want to rip off their fame is just something that is painstakingly crap. So before I finish I would just like to say, anybody who has bought this game, feel somewhat ashamed of yourselves, but also see it as something that you can rebel against because now you can report it and give it a horrible review and alert the other non-gamers who just buy apps not to buy this game as it is a complete rip off and the real ios 3d BY MOJANG (licensed) is coming out soon.
"it is fun, therefore needs to be free"
I am not following your logic :\
Pretty sure he means the rip-off "Crafted" should be free to play, not Minecraft or Terraria. Though if he does mean otherwise, I whole-heartedly agree with you.

A frightening Halloween-themed Minecraft Adventure...

It isn't but they took almost ALL of notch's textures
i'm not arguing about this but it seems alright that they made a game like that, but they could just make their own textures because its not theirs, it's still a copyright matter...
Guys, don't flame and be angry at this dude. You should feel sorry for him. He's too stupid to realize he copied a game.
'heyz l00k @ dat kewl sprite texta thing, it lo0ks pwetty, I tink we soud taek it, butt tooo avid lawjackets wee shuld maek it too-dee. No1 will notise, we vewy cleva'.
I was initially surprised at the support of the maker of Crafted. Lots of people saying "he gave them credit, so lay off!" Then I remembered the average age of gamers on this forum is not likely familiar with copyright laws.
All graphics are stolen from Minecraft, I guess whoever made this never heard the word "copyright"
#inb4lawsuit
all of that stuff missing is planned
Of course if the ultimate irony is that if this game was developed by Notch himself operating a pseudonym.

Well, sad enough as is Minecraft steals ideas as well.
Thanks for your time.
Pre_Purchased Out.
Least they quote them, and maybe, change it up alittle.
Sometimes I wonder if it's all too easy.
Lying, cheating, stealing your way to victory.
Though just how far would you fall for a dream?

So, Mojang is doubly aware of it. Triply. Million...ly.
There's a good lesson to be learned here. You can create a game that's inspired by another game, but you can't steal its assets to do so.
