My name is Ethan Gomez. Quite a while ago I wanted to make a game, so I sat thinking what do people like, and I came up with dwarves. Then it was up to me to start a team and begin work, after about two weeks I had my complete team, and now we are working hard to get this game to the internet. This is my team. First, we have me the leader of this operation, I work on getting this game put together, developing our massive map, and thinking of the actual gameplay. Then, we have our coder Austin, he is a smart guy and a good coder. Then we also have Tyler, he is a a good coder as well, and is smart.
Dwarven Empires is a game where you get to experience the heroic life of a dwarf, during a time of great war, and a time in which many adventures occur. You can choose wether to follow the main quest line, or just explore and do the main side quests that we have. The game is planned to have a massive amount of content. Including 200 and more items, that may used to heal or regenerate mana, or even weapons like swords or axes, sometimes if you rather use the power of ancient dwarven magic, you can collect scrolls that will allow to do just so. You will need this power to attack the many foes you will encounter, from slimes, to giant dragons in the great dwarven keeps. But do not fear for your life, for even in these times of battle, hope will still be preserved behind the walls of the dwarven lands.
Here are some screenshots I took for your satisfaction.
Here is the current version of tile based mapping: You probably won't like graphics, thats why I bought 28 new tiles from our artist today.
Here is a picture of a slime, :biggrin.gif:.
Post any feedback or ideas for game here too!
If you are interested in this game and want it to grow ever so more rapidly there are three things that you can do. One, if you are interested in this topic spreading way faster than it already is you can use our banner, that helps us and it makes you look damn cool. Second, bump the thread, this keeps up on the top of list of games and gets a better crown. Third, if you really want to support the making of the game donate to us, your hard-earned cash will go to stuff like, buying a site, copyright, trademarking, and purchasing the much needed graphics from our client. 1. I will post updates as they become available. And release a alpha/beta.
2. Release date is unknown at the moment, but alpha testing should go out in 2-3 months.
3. It might be on steam, or on a website made by myself.
4. Price also depends on how much work time and money we put into to this, but surely no more than $12 usd for the first release.
Also monsters and combat will play a fun role in this game.
Exactly what this is.
I think he mines is it like a MOBA kind of game, or is it like a sort of MMORPG 3-D game.
It is a top down game that is 2D.
<too lazy to make a witty signature, sorry for the inconvenience>
Indeed it is..
Put our link in your sig and you can help us!
Sooner maybe in later versions we will add a small form of multi-player but single-player will be main aspect.
