Battleon Games consist of Artix Entertainment's 5 games - AdventureQuest, DragonFable, MechQuest, AdventureQuest Worlds and EpicDuel. AdventureQuest, DragonFable & MechQuest are single player roleplaying games, while AdventureQuest Worlds and EpicDuel are massively multiplayer online games. All games are played in the browser. We also have multiple minigames and an expansion for our game AdventureQuest which is called WarpForce! Our team is dedicated to creating a family-friendly world full of excitement and adventure. Players can go on quests, explore the world, and battle monsters! The games are updated continuously with new places, characters, items and quests. All of our games are free to play. We do offer special optional upgrades and in game currency you can purchase for special in game bonuses and benefits.
Basically, turn-based RPGs that play in your browser. They're updated weekly.
Heres the games and my opinions of them -
Dragon Fable - My personal favorite. Lots of items and a nice system of gameplay. Some battles are annoying, but the storyline keeps it pretty enjoyable.
Mech Quest - Also great. It has a lot of variation in the enemies and player equipment. Lacks a reward system, so you're going to have to pay for pretty much everything. 1 planet needs a specific mech, which I don't have the money for or patience to farm for it, but otherwise great.
Adventure Quest - Personally, I don't like it. The random battles always kill me, and the storyline is so hard to keep track of that I gave up on it. Still, it can be pretty fun, and the battles here are really hard, and you need to constantly get new items to keep up. Still, what else is new?
Adventure Quest Worlds - The worst in my opinion. There's no real challenges, save getting enough people together to beat a boss. It focuses on getting new items which are all the same except for looks. The payment system is monthly/yearly and only unlocks new looks for your weapons. If you like doing the same thing over and over and over, the gameplay is for you. The story is interesting and sometimes funny, but that doesn't hold up the game.
Epic Duel - From what I've played, it's pretty good, but I haven't really played much, so I can't give a decent opinion.
All of the games are free, except for certain closed of items/areas/quests, which you have to pay for. But with the 3 best games (DF, MQ, AQ) it's only 1 time and 20 dollars, and worth it in my opinion.
Mechquest and DragonFable are the best, and AQ is pretty nice too but you get really sick of it after awhile. The improvement in art is REALLY noticable as you progress in the story for that game.
Epicduel is PvP focused, which is a change. However, the match system fails and sets you up with level 6 opponents as a level 1 newbie because no one makes new characters, and the skill system was broken last time I played. The extra skill point from level 1 and level 2 made too much of a difference; it wasn't relying on skill so much as 'I have more mana, more damage, AND better skills'. Interestingly enough, this wasn't an original AE game. This was a project made by a small team, I think it was two or so people, and they recently got hired by AE or something, and merged.
I absolutely despise those games. The animation is poor, the art is poorer, and the gameplay is absolutely boring. The ONLY thing that makes up for it is the puns.
And there is my two cents.

I am NOT going to see friend requests, so stop sending them.
I played Dragon Fable for a wile. It's actually pretty good, and amazing for a free online RPG. Although the gameplay for it gets repetitive. I never played Adventure Quest, but I've heard it's horrible from my friends who introduced me to it. Adventure Quest Worlds was good. I liked it. In fact, I'm gonna go play it now...
Played a little bit of MechQuest. It was good.

grew tired of constantly waiting for free slots to open up.
This is why I did it. Then I Moved, lost 'net access, forgot the passwords to it and my email, forgot all about it, and a few years later I find my cousin plays DF. I quickly Signed up, bought us both Dragon amulets, and now I have fun trying to outdo him as he does the same.

I was part of the Beta test of DF, too.
