Seeing a few people and things Notch made had to do with this epic game I thought I'd make this topic.
So, not sure if everyone here has L4D2/L4D, but this DLC is (supposedly) coming out in about an hour.
Who's gonna spend the rest of their day/evening/night with this new campaign? =D
Actually, someone died... even in the same map. BIG FRIGGIN SPOILER
Though sort of generally known and already suggested.
Either way... map is exactly as I had thought of it, the new "Mutation" mode is funny, atm it's Versus Realism, I only wished the infected wouldn't see any outlines either. >_> Second will be "Bleeding out".
So yeah, that next week.
SPOILER ALERT- DO NOT HIGHLIGHT YO IF YOU DONT LIKE DEM SPOILERS
Bill was the one to die, yes. But not because Valve wanted to.
His voice actor didn't show up when they started work on the Passing, so they were kind of forced to have Bill be the one to die.
So dont blame Valve, blame the voice actor.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
I am NOT going to see friend requests, so stop sending them.

From my knowledge, it wasn't that the VA didn't show up, it's that he didn't want to do any more voice work with them.
The passing on advanced for realism and Mutation is so ****ing hard... Just ask dehodson IDTL and me about our horrifying experience with witches and everything on those maps... :sad.gif:

He was the most boring character in L4D, that's true.
It's a decent campaign, but I've gotta say I can't stand the sewer area. Other than that, I like it.
On the topic of L4D/2, I got Guardin' Gnome on Singleplayer yesterday.

But maybe I'm wrong.
They made it out as if the original survivors would be a major part of the gameplay, yet they were little more than stationary turrets.
And GOD DAMN THE HISTORICAL DISTRICT RIVER SECTION. It's so ****ing dark, I walked right into a tank without noticing him.
Good times, good times.
