So yes, a decent concept of remixing an old-style zeldavania in 3D is good enough. If they can seamlessly morph that then it could be enjoyable, so long as they remember the golden rule of keeping it fun, and not merely counting on a gimmick to sell the game. However, that is now why we are interested. We are interested because of the art style chosen for the game.
Now I don't want to hear about anybody ripping off anybody. I just saw this and thought to myself of another game that has a similar artistic style. Game play of Minecraft and this appear to be completely different, not to mention the very nature of the art style differing greatly between the two. Where this is a 3D representation of a zelda-like game, Minecraft is a game based around the concept of Infiniminer; digging out the ground to survive.
So yes, I'm just expecting a bunch of comments on making some of these things in Minecraft and looking forward to the game, with some people voicing concerns over development.
Yea, this has been in development for quite a while. I'm looking very forward to it myself. As Taz said, it has a lot of similarities to Zelda, to the point of looking like quite a homage to the original. And also, it's hard to go wrong with From Software and Atlus.
Atlus is like stinky cheese. It seems like the kind of thing you'd want to avoid from first impressions, but once getting to know the details, it's excellence. Then again, they're usually just publishers. They just bring us the games most publishers wouldn't touch with someone else's money.
I'll just post a link and let you decide.

The art-style is brilliant. The actual game/gameplay looked VERY similar to 2D Zelda, though.
It's got 'From Software' and 'Atlus' on it though, so it's instantly awesome and worth a buy.
Give a little. =♥=
