Truthfully? I was fine with it at first. But since then, it's downgraded into a mess. From what I heard from my cousin and friends who played the game, they spent much more time creating purchasable items than actually fixing the broken parts of the game. Eventually, the game just didn't seem to be worth looking at anymore. Then add in how much money it made Epic, which isn't necessarily a bad thing. But that made Sweeney money-crazy. The Epic Store Exclusives began, and I was scammed out of several Steam games I'd been looking forward to, most importantly The Outer Worlds and Borderlands 3. Then there were rumors of Epic secretly scanning your computer for information that they then sold to their Chinese stockholders.
I don't dislike Fortnite for being a bad game. I do despise it for driving Epic profit-crazy and ultimately leaving a permanent scar on the reputation of the gaming industry.

Watch out for the crabocalypse. Some say the day will never come. But it will.

If you'd like to talk with me about other games, here are a few I play.
Team Fortress 2
Borderlands series (Borderlands 2 is my favorite game, ever. TPS combat is a lot of fun and makes up for the lower-quality story, in my opinion)
Elder Scrolls series
Warframe (IGN is something like That_One_Flesh_Atronach)
Pokémon series (HGSS forever)
Rocket League
Fallout series
Left 4 Dead 2 (Boomer files always corrupt though)
SUPERHOT (SUPERHOT is the most innovative shooter I've played in years!)
Dead Rising series (Dead Rising 2 is one of my favorite games, and the 3rd was a lot of fun. 1st has poor survivor AI and the 4th is bad)
Just Cause series
Come to think of it, I mainly play fighting-based games.
I played it a bit a few years ago but the whole battle pass idea really put me off, it's no different than a membership subscription really but the way they pushed it after basically every match really rubs me the wrong way.
Well that and it's honestly a pretty generic shooter and I don't think the addition of building structures really adds anything.
I don't want any of the fortnite bad minecraft good memes or anything, I just want an honest opinion on the game
With love,
