Definitely something like Mirror's Edge. That game was so much fun but sadly the story and combat sucked.
First off, it'd be open-world (Similar to how ME:Catalyst is going to be) so you aren't forced to go the path the game-makers intended and no other way (The original Mirror's Edge was very linear, doesn't work well for a freerunning/parkour based game)
Secondly, I'd improve the original combat. There would be many more options in the choice of move-set and using the enviroment but I'd make it so most of the time it's best to run past the enemies and try to avoid taking damage. Also no guns.
Finally, a better story. Not entirely sure yet, but I'll get something done.

I've always wanted to make a game called 'WEB', from 'food web'
When you start the game, you'd be a mouse. To survive you'd need to eat, drink, and not be hunted
The more points you'd get from surviving would let you get better animals
And when you got... Say, a Fox, then YOU could eat the players that were mice!
Also, every animal would have a special view for their strongest sense, so for example, rabbits might see shockwaves of noise, whereas wolves could detect the scent trails left behind by other animsls
The game would start off in Canadian forests, but would eventually expand to the Australian scrub, or the arctic tundra... And after that, I might have a special area with fan made creatures

This is going to make me feel really old but I remember back when I was 19-20 and me and my ex were designing a game
that was heavily influenced by legend of zelda and dragon ball z. The name of the game was End of Worlds. We had
character designs plotted, level designs, music and a whole slew of easter eggs ranging from courage the cowardly dog
to the x-files.
We spent the better part of 3 years trying to get everything figured out and that was just concepts and ideas. After we split
we abandoned the model we had developed. Many years later in 2010 I picked it back up for a college project. I had wireframes
and some base concepts for animation using a combo of adobe programs, forget the names right this moment.
I had developed a 18 frame slide show for the project and was awarded an A++ so I must have done well.
I think about picking it up again but its been so long I don't remember much of the details. I think it would have been the first
truly unlimited sandbox game. There were story lines but you were not required to follow them. You could choose good, bad
or nutral. We had a custom character builder outline. You could change just about anything and you could do just about
aything. Even hold down a legitimate job or whatever. It was a grand idea for its time. Just never got to see the light of day.
