Yes. Zelda, Xeno Blade, Mario Kart, and the new one Mario Maker. (basically you can build your own mario levels.) These are all Nintendo exclusives, and worth buying the console for..
Might want to wait for the NX. If it turns out to be backwards compatible, then buy the NX. Even if it is running a different architecture, the rumored power it has would certainly be able to emulate the Wii U and Wii, if they go that route.
But right now, the Wii U is one of the only consoles with many great first party IPs. Zelda, Mario, Sm4sh, and more, except for F Zero and Metroid. And if you haven't played Twilight Princess, there is a rumor going out that there will be a remake similar to Wind Waker.
I love my Wii U as it does a great job at what it does. Screw power, I care about the games.
I also like the colorful art of the games, especially Super Mario 3D World.
I though NX was basically Nintendo's tablet, a console designed for playing Nintendo's mobile games. (although I never bothered to look it up, one of my friends mentioned it in passing, so I'm probably wrong.)

i think we should all use common sense and logic when we answer and ask a question but always stay open minded
just cause science fails to explain something does not mean its real (afterlife, big foot, ghosts etc..) does not mean its fake try to stay opened mined instead of closed
Personally, I think that so little is known about the NX it's not even worth considering it with regards to a console purchase. With how little we know and how far off it probably is based on how little we know, I don't think it really gives us any more information other than what we already knew, which is that over time, technologies and products becomes deprecated and replaced with a new one. The NX "deferrence" idea is the same as if in 2011 folks were telling people considering a PS3 to instead wait for the PS4.
