Well, KB, I can summarize your app, but it's a very, very short summation.
Noibat, 16, red markings on nose and claws.
Trainer was the true Miles Hall.
Encountered the bad guys, Miles Hall died.
Things happened that were dramatic, namely when their family finally decided to move on, and Noibat decided to leave, picking up his pokeball from the dad.
Noibat took up his trainer's name.
That's the best I can do from memory, but yeah.

Sometimes I wonder if it's all too easy.
Lying, cheating, stealing your way to victory.
Though just how far would you fall for a dream?

This "spam filter" is the worst implementation to the forums ever, even the broken ass editor isnt as bad as this. I want to stab something

Arguments happen, they just do, you can't stop it, no matter how much power you have, even if it takes years to settle, when it does, everyone is stronger for it. Rivalries can be made into friendships if you let them.
Some ideas are meant to be made into reality, but most need to be burned at the stake.

I honestly think that the RPing forum should be exempt from most if not all of these rules. They just get in the way.

Normally I would put an advertisement for a game that doesn't exist or a stupid sign telling you you've got a virus.
Not today.

Speak to me not of that devil editor, that satan spawn is a heresy to all things holy productive. There aren't enough symbols on a keyboard for me to truly express how much I hate the tormentous thing.
I wonder... If you have an OC that uses dimensional/Non-Dimensional portals, is that Godmodding?
Because I like to fool with people, Id practically open portals to avoid certain attacks such as projectiles and melee attacks.
I could also open another portal that makes their attack come right back to them. Is this OP?
Probably most definitely yes. Main problem is, you have described an unfettered super power. In most rp's that will involve super powers there are very common limitations such as being unable to use the power often, using a reserve of times the power can be used, and being left helpless after using the power in a major way.
The second flaw common in these scenarios is the mindset that the more powerful someone is, the quicker they move. I advise against using anything like portals at the speed of thought. It wouldn't be fair of someone with telekinesis to move objects at the speed of light, so neither should your portals. As a writer you can describe something as if it had all happened in the blink of an eye, but as a character it is unrealistic.
Also welcome to the forums.

Time to update the ol' rpg test. The ones I get the most are Tactician, Cleric, and Paladin

Yes.
You're dodging AND attacking with portals, which itself is quite ridiculous unless you're in certain RPs with superpowers. But, even then that can incur powergaming if the moves miss all the time, and happen to always hit the enemy.
It's an interesting power, but it could use a little bit of balance. I've always liked toying with the idea of creating portals to a "pocket" dimension then using said portal for general purposes. But that's where the problem arises, it's too versatile. You could use that to teleport, flee, attack, and defend, all in one ability. Theoretically speaking, an enemy could fire a death ray at the planet, at which point, you could shoot it back at him xD. There are several ways to help alleviate this. You could put a limit on the powers, perhaps the portals would only interact with you and/or allies. Perhaps the power takes a heavy toll on the user and several portal casts would leave the character unable to do so again in a short while, Perhaps the portal takes a (relatively)long time to open, and your character must retain focus on the portal lest risk shutting the portal. There are probably more ways to do this, but it's up to you on how you want to solve it.
Also, if you get accepted into Rewop Academy, I'll be interested to watch your roleplay mechanics. Currently, I've submitted an app(and it may or may not have been accepted yet) but have not joined yet. However, I am following the roleplay, it has a good story so far and so I believe that there is already someone with the ability to teleport(however, not portals, only personal and allied teleportation). Just some things to consider,

No, there are two characters with teleportation. My character has a machine that can do it on a large scale, but it's fairly inefficient and takes time to open rift nodes. Another character can teleport, but it's personal/short range teleportation, like blinking.

Back in Halfmoon academy my characters used portals all the time, portals aren't used in combat as they require a decent amount of energy, even small ones. Portal abilities regarding cross dimensional travel are only temporary and require a much more vast source of energy. If you want to have a more permanent portal you must construct a dimensional gate. One should keep in mind that teleportation and portals are very different things.

I seriously advise having portals as a secondary power, with your primary power for combat.

Ive always been thinking about robots. Although summoning tech and weapons would be OP in its own way XD. If I turned into a human sized White Glint, Kojima radiation everywhere XD. That, and Kojima weaponry is OP.

Not to mention the ginormous app I made for Sol in a PM... and the next post I made in that PM explaining that the post was deleted for some reason.
