Setting: The City is set like modern day type city, except set up slightly differently. The way this city works is that it is broken up into five parts. There's the Government Zone called "The Capitol", an "Industrial Zone", an "Agricultural Zone", a "Business Zone", and a "Downtown area". These areas have different purposes and will be explained below. Map of City:
The Capitol: The Capitol is the place where everyone starts when coming into the city. It is where all government facilities are held and if you land a government job, this is where you will report to for work. One important building here is the police academy. You do need to apply to be a police officer and there is a separate application for that.
Business Zone: The business Zone is where the consumer side of businesses are held. This is where the majority of the shops are held, and where people go to get things such as groceries and clothes. This is where teenagers often get their first jobs in department stores, grocery stores, ect. Work here ranges from decent to wealthy in pay rankings. Work can require minimal school experience, and one can work their way up to owning a business.
Downtown: The Downtown area is a big place for entertainment. There's shopping, events such as roller skating and arcades, casinos, and even a pier with amusement rides. The children of the town often consider school to be a plague because of it's intrusion in this otherwise fun zone. Work here has little to decent pay and requires minimal school experience.
Industrial Zone: The industrial zone is covered with factories, research labs, and other heavy industry buildings. It's highly physical work here, except for a few science labs and power plants. Work here has decent to high pay, and often requires little school experience. Work here also has risks such as radioactive poisoning and injury from construction.
Agricultural Zone: The Agricultural zone is where animals and livestock are raised. Not much happens here, except the occasional incident causing food shortages or a school field trip. Because of this zone, the University has a great agricultural program. Work earns little to semi-wealthy pay that depends on experience and land, and can start without school experience, however to do that, one must have an apprenticeship in the field.

Morality Explaination: Morality is supposed to be basically is your character good or evil. This doesn't necessarily mean hero or villain but for example if you have a character with slightly negative morality, they might be more likely to rob a bank or ignore someone in desperate need for help. What you have is fine though. Lemme know if it needs more explaining, it's not meant to be character defining necessarily, but it just helps define the character's personality.

Name: Cleménce (Clem) Taylor
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Time living in city: Born and raised here, yo
Personality: Quiet (she's mute as far as most people at her school are concerned); nobody really knows her, but if she were to describe herself she would probably say kind, gentle, soft-hearten, weak, and rather wild if given enough provoking. She's what many people would call a "cat person."
Strengths: She is very good at running, and art. She also seems to have a certain bond with most animals she encounters.
Weaknesses: She isn't very strong, first of all, and she's failing academically if you consider that a weakness (except art).
Fears(Optional): School, although she has perfect attendance every year; people who approach her too fast, bullies, mean people in general, the vice principal of her school.
Current Job: She is an apprentice of an animal farmer (If you're okay with that). This place raises domestic pets such as dogs and cats until they are old enough to be sold.
Career goals: She doesn't really have many goals in her life, and if she ever answered anyone who questioned, "What do you want to be when you're older?" she would probably say a veterinarian or a pet store owner, something that requires a lot of interactions with animals and especially with a wide range of them.
Morality: {If I did this wrong tell me} DND wise, she would be a True Neutral character. So, she's pretty uncaring when it comes to anything and doesn't really see a reason to describe anything as right or wrong, although sometimes she will place things as right or wrongs such as drugs, alcohol, etc. is wrong as is bullying and making fun of others for any traits they have or abusing animals or other people. But, for the most part, she is neutral on most reasoning behind whether something is morally wrong or right. If she was given the option to kill one person to save ten, she would do it since it meant saving more people, even if it was an entirely innocent person. Clem would never see that action as morally "wrong."
Bio: Clem has been mute since about fifth grade. Some of her older classmates remember her as a bright, bubbly girl with her curls everywhere and always excited about something. Her dark brown eyes would sparkle, despite their color, every day and bring a small smile to everyone who saw her. Then the bullying started. Some older children would jeer at her for her face, hair, or whatever they could think of in the moment they saw her. Over a couple of years her eyes lost their shine, she seemed to take a liking to hoodies and long sleeved shirts more than anything. Her hair looked much neater, but worn from all the times she had messed with it in hopes of trying to make it look better. After a year of bullying she gave up talking at all, thinking it was better if she just stayed quiet all the time.
The best part of her day is going home to her cat, after all the work of school she finds it nice to just sit down and lay with her cat. Her parents are often out working jobs and going on constant dates, and she has no other siblings. At school, she has a crush on a few people, some she knows do not feel the same, in fact, she doubts they even know she exists. She keeps a low profile with her head down and her eyes lower, hardly ever making eye contact with anyone. At lunch, she sits alone in a dimmer corner of the main eating area. ((Will be expanded as I develop Clem some more~))
Appearance: ((Picture soon to come perhaps)) Short, naturally curly but usually wavy brown hair. Average height at about 5'4 2/3" as well as usually wearing a grey hoodie. She almost always has some sort of grey scale shirt on underneath (grey, black, white, etc.). Wears jeans almost every day along with black and white Conversetm shoes. She has brown eyes, and hardly ever smiles.
Other: What was it? Eleven I think...? Ah yes, the eleventh Doctor, Matt Smith.

With that being said, this has also cause him to get used to being the center of attention and has landed him a spot with the popular kids, whether he wants to be one or not. James still holds onto his morals and his kindness, but occasionally the stuck-up attitudes of the preppy rich kids rubs off on James. He often feels pressured to talk to or ignore certain people because the "popular kids" may not approve otherwise. He's often quiet and opinion-less. But this all combined often causes James to go out at night and commit reckless behavior. Strengths: Physically fit, average intelligence, high on the social ladder, careless. Weaknesses: Careless, easily influenced, quiet, reckless, holds in emotions. Fears(Optional): Heights, losing someone he cares about, disappointing people, embarrassment, showing too many emotions, saying the wrong thing. Current Job: Student (Starting football player) Career goals: James wants to become either a professional football player or a police officer. Morality: James is generally good morally, but he can be influenced fairly easily which can cause him to do immoral things.

He goes to the local high school and plays football with studying, excelling in history and social sciences. His ability on the field has gotten the attention of the "popular" kids and James doesn't know how exactly he feels about them. Sometimes he enjoys their company, just to have some, but other times he questions their motives. He doesn't have many friends, possibly due to his lack of speaking and inability to show emotions without fear. He has trouble confronting new people and has a huge fear of heights. Appearance: James is a 5'11" male with a slightly olive skin tone. He has dark brown hair that appears black and is often cut very short. He is built fairly muscularly from playing football. He has dark brown eyes and his mouth is often formed in either an emotionless expression or a scowl or somewhere in between, except when he's faking a smile of course. Other:Nevele

((Sure. Well, yes if by evil criminal you mean realistic criminal, such as drugs or other such crimes, which is what I assume you meant. Nothing like any super villains or anything though.))
It was early Sunday morning, 7:04 a.m., to be exact. The paperboy was 4 minutes late to his street but luckily most of the families were either still asleep or didn't seem to care. He threw out the fresh prints, taking note of bold headline: "Police find stockpile of weapons and drugs not far from High School. More on Pg. 7". The boy shrugged it off, and continued tossing his papers. The cops had been known for 'finding' contraband items before, but never came up with anything substantial. The residential section was quiet and relaxed, but many business centers were already opening up. Time is money and money is power. Recently, business had been booming, but who knows exactly why. Maybe it was the increased tourism, or maybe it was something behind the scenes, something the businessmen were forced to cover up by lining each others pockets with dough, but then again, who knows for sure. The highest up workers in the Industrial center were already there for a few hours. In fact, many of from the graveyard shift just swapped off and clocked out. The farmers in the Agricultural lands were up since dawn, feeding and counting their animals, as well as taking precautions to protect themselves from the recent disappearance of farm animals. Maybe it was just a fox, or maybe it was a devious teenager, but they were better safe then sorry. The Mayor was supposed to make a speech at his gathering last night, but he postponed until further notice. It was looking to be an interesting day in the city.
Jay left his house dressed in his typical Sunday athletic gear. Grey and blue Nike Tokis on, grey basketball shorts with a blue stripe down each side, and a light blue dri-fit T-shirt. Oh, and who could leave home without their shades on such a nice Sunday. Silver frames with blue metallic lens. He hopped in his dad's black 2007 Cadillac CTS. Jay wanted to drive by the school and see if anyone was on the football field, maybe he could practice a bit. He rode over toward the school but slowed significantly, to a near stop, when he saw the police tape near the school. About half a dozen officers were digging through a hole, and all Jay could make out was a few guns and a bag or two of an unknown substance. Jay swore under his breath and turned the car around, driving to Jackson Park. The police worried him, and he wondered if this had to do with his dad talking about the mayor cancelling a speech.
((A consulting criminal. This'll be fun.))
Clemence arose at 7 am, sitting in her bed and staring at the wall across from her as she wondered what to do this day. She didn't have work or school to go to, and she hardly ever bothered with her homework. As she hear the paper thump against the door of the small, two-story house she got up and grabbed it. The girl could faintly hear her parents waking up in the bedroom adjacent to hers, so she glanced at the headline, rolling her eyes as she threw the paper onto the table and retreated into her room to get dressed. She threw on her usual outfit and grabbed a shoulder bag with money and some other things she had to wander the city and slipped out the door as she began to hear her parents already begin to bicker. Sighing, Clem walked out of their house and into the street that connected the farmers and business area. She decided to go to a coffee place by her house and a park, pointing at the menu items she wanted and grabbing her breakfast before walking out to the park itself, strolling along while she sipped her coffee and nibbled at some scones she had gotten.
Jay noticed a girl walking through the park. He never really talked to her before, except maybe some small chat in class. Normally he would've ignored her and kept working out, but he had to talk to someone. He approached her slowly, as he didn't want to attract any unwanted attention to himself. "Hey, have you been to the school today?" Jay couldn't remember her name and he really hoped she couldn't remember his, that is if they really had met. Ever since he staryed playing football, Jay has met a lot of people and so he doesn't really know many names.
The police began sending some of the guns and drugs back to the capitol for further examination. The local news station reports that they will release any info as soon as they have any to give. No word on the mayor's speech.
At first, Clem didn't realize that the very popular guy at her school was talking to her, but after a moment she looked up, her eyes riddled with confusion as to why someone like him would be talking to her. She slowly shook her head and took another bite of her food. She looked him up and down, recognizing him but not remembering what his name was considering she didn't take the time to talk to anyone and ask them anything anymore. She realized he'd probably seen what was going on instead of seeing it on a newspaper and rolled her eyes, wondering why people even bothered to pay for new papers if they didn't even glance at them. Hoping that was all he wanted from her, she slowly turned and began walking. It always felt awkward whenever people tried talking to her. She'd say nothing as they tried to hear what her voice sounded like, but she stayed quiet until they got frustrated and left.
Jay walked fast to catch up to the girl. He was a little angry that she basically ignored him. Especially since he was pretty popular. "Well I went there and I saw some strange things. Tons of cops there." Jay spoke somewhere between normal volume and a whisper. Then he remembered he should ask her name "What's your name again? I'm Jay by the way." He threw his hand up in a half-hearted greeting wave. He held back his anger as much as possible and fortunately it seemed to hold back.
Clem nodded, thinking to herself, Figures. They're probably going to try and fail at finding whoever did what they claimed. The police here are idiots. She ignored the question and put on a polite, tight smile as she nodded and looked up at the taller boy. She finished her food and crumpled up the bag they had been in, stuffing it and her non-coffee-holding-hand into her pocket as she continued to walk. She was just waiting for him to explode like most people did once they got frustrated with her lack of conversation. It wasn't her fault that she never talked. Well it mostly wasn't her fault. Clemence made a soundless sigh at people's lack of ability to understand when someone didn't or couldn't talk.
Jay stopped in his tracks, confused why the girl was ignoring him. He caught up with her and put his hand on her shoulder to stop her. "This is serious." Jay knew that since he became popular, people might not take him seriously, but he had to tell someone about what he saw. "Are you ok? Why don't you talk? "Jay figured originally that she was shy but now he was thinking maybe there was another reason. In the back of his mind crept images of the police, with curiosity on why they were at school. Jay was worried this whole event might effect his scholarships and college opportunities, especially if someone from his team was involved.
Clemence stopped when Jay grabbed her shoulder, looking up at him with a mix between a look of pity and really? She shrugged dismissively and raised an eyebrow at him. Wow, that's a first. I didn't think people could actually ask that to me. She said sarcastically in her head, her body language portraying the thought faintly. She bit her lip, looking to the side and on the ground as she tried to think of some way to communicate without looking stupid. Thinking of nothing, she turned and continued walking, chewing on her lip as she did so and thinking that maybe this boy wasn't a complete idiot after all.
"Hmph..." Jay finally ignored this girl again and dropped all attempts at communication. "Well, see ya." He said as he walked back to his car. He sat in the seat thinking for a bit. He even contemplated driving by the school or the police station to see if there was any clues on what was happening. He thought more about what exactly he saw. He had an idea on who could be involved, but that's if it's someone at his school. He was afraid it wasn't who he thought it was but he figured it wasn't, although he'd check just to be safe. Jay pulled out his phone and started to text his friend. *Hey, I'm on my way over, I'll explain there*. He sat in his car after sending it, thinking of the possibilities.

Jay arrived at the house of his friend. He knocked on the door twice, and was interrupted mid third knock. A boy around Jay's age walked out of the house, shutting the door behind him. Inside, Jay noticed the boy's mother pacing back and forth. "What's wrong?" Jay said to the boy. The kid just looked down and shook his head. "Carlos..." Jay said "something is seriously wrong, what is it?" Carlos sighed. "Maria was kidnapped. My mom is waiting for the Commissioner to call back with updates. We don't know who took her." Jay didn't know what to say, so there was a bit of an awkward silence. "Carlos, I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe-" "The entire police force is working on this case. Dad hasn't a clue why she'd be kidnapped. He said if whoever has her doesn't return her today, He's making a speech, tonight at 7." Jay made a mental note to check the news at seven. It's really sad that someone would kidnap his sister. Maybe a political rival? Probably not but still a possibility. Jay wondered if this had to do with the guns and drugs outside the school.
Closing her device after a solid hour or so of playing it, Clem stood up and stretched, stuffing the game into her bag and yawning. She looked around, the park was still mostly empty with a couple here and there. After deciding she didn't want to stay the the park, the girl began walking aimlessly. She passed a couple random shops, nodding at anybody who offered her a friendly smile while they passed, and Clem eventually came to a grocery store near by and started to browse the junk food and fruits. She bought a peach and a chocolate bar, simply handing the money to the checkout guy who's name tag read "Alex" before grabbing her things and striding out. Clemence bit into her peach while she continued to wander the streets, wishing something exciting would happen for once.
((This post is real on so many levels. I want to thank all of you for being a part of my first roleplay I created. To be honest, It was doomed from the start. I am sincere when I thank every single one of you who posted on here in some way for contributing to my first expedition into the world of RP hosting. I must especially thank loveofthenerd for helping me get through this and motivating me to get it started. ((This post is real on so many levels. I want to thank all of you for being a part of my first roleplay I created. To be honest, It was doomed from the start. It was a basic enough idea to gather interest, however it was too simple to keep my own. I didn't have much of an idea of where I was going with this, which was important with this number of members. I am sincere when I thank every single one of you who posted on here in some way for contributing to my first expedition into the world of RP hosting. I must especially thank loveofthenerd for helping me get through this and motivating me to get it started. I know there is a lot of things wrong with this RP but I think it is something more of a learning tool. Again I want to thank all of you for the support you gave. Do not think of this as a goodbye, but a see you soon...
