I watched intently as the boy plucked at his bow like a instrument. Rather amused, I started to shimmy down the branch, slowly. Not knowing what I was getting into, a loud Crack! was heard. I tumbled to the ground, and landed back first. I groaned in pain, and rubbed my temples. ''Wow... stupid me.'' I thought.
Startled, I turned around from the loud crack, to see a blonde guy who I assumed fell from a tree. Calming down, I rolled my eyes, and walked up to him, and offered to help him get up.
I denied his offer with a shake of the head, and I stood up myself. ''You come to train?'' I asked, as I had a hand on my pocket, just in case this guy was going to pull something.
"Yeah," I answered quietly. I could distinctly note that the person was notably taller than me. "I just hope they don't place me on the frontlines, I'm more of a support person than a fighter," I added, flickering my bow's string again.
I grunted, and dropped my hand to my side. ''I see...'' I said. ''My name's Haruki.'' I said in my accent. [French.] ''I come from the Trost district.'' ''and you are...?'' I trailed off, looking at him.
Corporal Grey:
I look among all the new flesh that have decided to live among the rest of the soldiers. "They obviously have no idea what they are getting into," I say to myself. "Open the gates!" I shout to some random soldiers. The gates begin to open as I start walking out. "Everyone get out onto the field now and stand at attention!" I shout to the trainees spread out among the opening in front of the Academy.
Alden:
I jumped slightly as I was startled by the instructor's yelling. I begin to slip out of the tree and as I fall my hand grabs on the branch. "Whoa, that was a close one." I say. I swing on the branch and then jump back to the floor as the tree was not that far off the ground. I look back up to the boy I now know as Pigeon and say "Well, I'd love to continue talking, but it looks like we are being called to attention now. C'mon Pigeon, you can line up next to me."
((Also, if anyone cares, I updated Alden's application.))
Sky tensed up, surprised by the Corporal and waved bye to her father before turning back to the two. She smiled mischievously before waving bye to them as well. She then ran to line up with everyone and stared straight, trying to remember everything her father had told her. She then glanced a look at everyone present.
Laraine
Jumping a bit when the corporal called everyone to attention, I quickly follow his directions and move through gates to the fields behind it and onto the grounds of the academy. Well I guess there goes my old life at the factory, now on to my new death I suppose. I guess I should think of this as a good new start but.... I'm still scared. My thoughts threatened to overwhelm as I continued walking down and taking up a position in the field, but I kept the straight, unemotional poker face I've worn for years now.

I lined up at the backend of where the other were. Tight ropes constrict my hands, but I've been tied up before too, so its nothing too serious. I guess the guys in charge didn't want me to break through everything and everyone in the wake of my rage. But I've cooled down now, and wish nothing more than to be left alone.

I stand at attention, all hint of a take-it-easy expression gone from my face as I stare forwards seriously, staying utterly still as I watch the others in my peripheral vision - a trick I had learned at an early age.
despite my apparent calmness, my heart beat faster, and my silent breaths shuddered as I knew what was coming, trying to ignore my feelings, and come up with something to say.
((yikes, I really hate this approved posts thing, though I know why it's there, despite how annoying it is :I))

Haruki
I stood, stone faced, waiting for the orders, really my mind was wandering elsewhere. I glanced at all my fellow trainees. ''This is going to be... interesting.'' I thought.
The last few nights had been extremely rough. Filled with unnecessary anxiety, guilt, and many tears, Edythe barely received any decent sleep as she shivered throughout the cold nights in only her light weight, dark blue long sleeve top and ragged sweatpants that she had been wearing as she made her escape from her home in Yalkell. She had refused to stay in any inn or apartment, because she was afraid that her father would be able to find her easily, so she resorted to sleeping in different alleyways each night. She only decided to check into an inn under an alias so that she could freshen up a bit and change into her crisp, new training uniform.
Upon leaving the inn, she purchased an apple from a vendor and made her way to the meeting area for new trainees. By the time that Edythe had made it to the meeting area, the gates had already been opened and most of the trainees had already entered passed through them. Frantically, she handed the uneaten apple to a famished-looking little boy that had been standing nearby with a slight smile and picked up her pace to a slow jog so that she could file in with the other recruits and take a spot near the back.

((Well, we kind of have to wait until Admiral continues with Corporal Grey so we can continue.))
((Well, hot-damn! Can't we make our own NPC Corporal Grey in place of his to continue to story?))
