Welcome to the lands of Saik. It may be hard to believe that these war-torn fields were once the most peaceful continent on the planet, yet, no more than thirty years ago, war was as much a myth as the heroes of old. War found a way back to these lands the moment a certain legendary relic, the Shield of Seals, also known as the Fire Emblem was found by a dark mage. Its appearance seems to be connected to the sudden happening of kings and queens alike finding any reason to make war with one another... it's possible that the Shield's power is being used by the wrong hands.
This brings us to the present, when, recently a dark force has taken over the rulers of each individual country, causing them to wage pointless wars. Any soldiers that refused were corrupted or imprisoned. This lead to death and strife along the land, including all connections to other continents being lost and having there being a draft of all people in the countries, including the children and the elderly. Anyone found to not be human, and thus uncorruptable, were driven out of their towns and later killed on sight. There are rumors of a small group of people who are unable to be corrupted. However, they are imprisoned on an the most secure prison island in the continent, which is in the center of the Ain lake, guarded by a hundred soldiers, and surrounded by water dragons.

Example Application:
Name: Lucas Ravenblade
Age: 16
Description: Lucas is a young man with hair as black as a raven's feather. 5'7, he mostly wears light-blue leather shoulder-plates and a grey coat, with a sheath attached to his back. He has metal boots made of steel, and a feather sticking in his hair. His eyes are blue and seem cold, while his gloved hands are usually clenched.
Class: Mercenary
Gender: Male
Weapon: Ravenblade. It is a broadsword, with an iron blade. The hilt is covered in raven feathers, and has a picture of his sister Cordelia in the center.
Backstory: Lucas is from a long line of warriors known as the Ravenblades, a tribe of Raven Laguz. He however was abandoned at the age of 4 due to having his mother secretly being a Branded, which is strictly forbidden in their family's clan. Forced to steal to live, he and his sister lived in a cardboard box for most of their life, somehow surviving. Lucas later got a job as a sellsword and become quite rich. Even though he was shunned among Laguz, he was generally accepted among humans and became popular, later becoming a general in Saik's army. Later, he started questioning the sanity of the rulers, and was locked away.
Weakness/Asset: Lucas, though he is fast, is lacking in skill.
Race: Raven Branded.
Cities:
Saik: The capitol of the land. It's a very large city with a clear divide between the rich and the poor. The rich live in the north side of town, near the castle which houses their ruler, and the poor live in the south side of town... even if there aren't any houses there.
Menzalton: A city just to the north of Saik. Once the wars started erupting, this city tried to claim itself as its own country and kingdom. This war led many to flee the city, and is still actually going on, unfortunately.
Ien: A city to the north of Menzalton that is filled with warriors. They actually held tournaments there during peacetime out of sheer boredom. They are actually benefiting from these wars... suspiciously enough.
Lika: A port town to the east of Menzalton. They have tried to stay neutral in these new wars, but ended up fighting against both Menzalton and Saik when their ruler became corrupted.
Rikia: A mountain village to the west of Saik. As soon as Saik troops invaded the place, every citizen from the youngest child to the oldest woman were drafted into Saik's army... it has become the perfect place for thieves to hide.
Fae: It was once a normal city that happened to have Manakate and Laguz, however, ever since the humans have been killing non-humans on sight, this place has been forced to guard its borders, leaving the actual city filled only with women and children.
Q&A:
Q:If a player gets into a relationship with another one, can their children come from the future and fight with them?
A: Yes! This will be a big part of the RP if people agree to it.
Q: Can characters die?
A: Yes they can, only if they have a child to pass all their skills to.
Q: Can I suggest things?
A:Please do.
Q:Will you update the OP?
A: Yes.
Name: Labrys Age:17 Description: My Avatar. Class: Lord Personality: True form of evil. Loves to watch enemies suffer instead of instant killing. Seems pretty evil, but if you're a close friend, she won't be as evil. Weapon: Aeruoa's Rune: A sword infused with Rune Shards for the blade, and a feathered hilt forged with iron. Backstory: Rumors say that Labrys is actually a test subject, and is planning to take over.
Hmm... Add in another class in case your Lord class doesn't get accepted. I guess I should put in the OP that only the one most fit to be Lord can be one.

got accepted. It's not that your character is evil, no, that's completely okay. A one-sentence bio, and a description that points to one's avatar (which is always subject to change) with no other clues as to what they'd look like if you happened to change your avatar. Not only that, but, come on, test subjects? Of what? Well, sure, there have been such things in the FE universe, but would you care to explain in your bio what your character was a test subject of, and who dunnit, as well as possibly some sort of explaination that, either it went wrong and she killed the one who made her, or it went right. Sorry for this rant, I guess I'll just have to wait and hope that Count makes a good enough RP of this.))

((Eh, must have read wrong, but you said that the only thing stopping her was the class... meaning that the things I was ranting about would have been accepted.))
((Eh, must have read wrong, but you said that the only thing stopping her was the class... meaning that the things I was ranting about would have been accepted.))
(If it was accepted, I would have said something along the lines of: "Accepted, but you might need to change your class." I'm not THAT shallow...)
((Anywho, sorry for the rant, but, you seem kinda new to this section... er, no offence meant. I actually think you might have a bit of potential. Maybe it's just because I've been kinda waiting for an RP of this fanchise for a little while, but... I think I might be able to help you. Er, through a PM, of course.))

((Alright, uh... I suppose I should send that PM.
Of course, you're still going to have to make the changes, and probably correct me on some of this, as I have only played Awakening in the series... starting the PM, now!))
Sure Strike (Bow Users): Ensures a 100% hit rate.
Pierce (Lance Users): Ignores Defense while attacking.
Pick (Assassin, Rogue): Picks lock without key
Lethality (Assassin, Swordmaster): Automatically kills common enemy with 10% or less health.
Shove (Any Unit): Lowers the evasion of unit shoved by 15%. This also counts for friendly units.

So, about the skills:
Sure Strike would just be Snipe.
Thieves will be able to pick without a key anyways.
Pierce is Luna.
Lethality would be too OP.
Shove wouldn't work, because this isn't set stats.
Now about the classes:
Thief promotes to Rogue. Assassins are a base class because Trickster makes a better assassin IMO.
What would Pupil bring that would make it better than starting as a Mage? There are no stats.
Same with Journeyman.
Also, I'm trying to keep Fighter and Mercenary as counterparts, so no Warrior, sorry.
And Pirate - Berserker is already there.
((I have never played Fire Emblem. Ever. I'm probably gonna start playing it now or something and in the near future I'll probably join.
@Lugia: Name: Lugia Avatar: Ho-oh Ironic Level: 10
Name: Robert Morris Age: 23 Gender: Male Race: Manakate Appearance: In human form, Robert stands at about 5'7", he has short black hair, brown eyes, and is neither muscular or fat. As a farmer, his clothes tend to be rather filthy, just as well, he never really cared about his appearance. In dragon form, he is actually not much larger than he is in human form, and has the usual (for his kind, that is) pearly white scales covering his body. His eyes in this form, are oddly the same brown color as they are in his human form. His talons are actually a sort of yellow rather than white, for some reason. His wings are much more batlike than the rest of his kind.
Class: Villager (for now) Weapon: A simple bronze lance.
Backstory: A few days after Robert was born to a white dragon mother and a red dragon father, humans invaded his city, and forced his mother to carry him out of harm's way. She eventually decided to hide him somewhere humans would never think to look, at some random farm just outside of town. She made it there, and pleaded with the farmer, who accepted her offer to raise her son. The farmer had no idea that she wasn't human, and never told Robert about his real mother. Robert always kept the strange rock that his mother had given the farmer when she was giving him her son... though, he still, to this day, has no idea how he got it, or if it's worth anything.
The man, who was named Richard raised Robert as if he were his own son, and, of course, Robert had always believed that he was. After a while, Robert got a little brother, named Jake. The little guy looked oddly nothing like Robert, everything from the hair color and eye color were basically opposite, with Jake having blonde hair and blue eyes. The war, while often shouted about by the occasional passing soldier or citizen, took a few years to actually reach the out of the way farm, and once it did, Robert was drafted.
The king's army first tried to teach him the way of the sword, and, after Robert showing no skill with that, moved on to an axe... they didn't have any better luck. The only weapon Robert could effectively use was a spear, or a lance. He still wasn't all that great at using it, and only fought in battle a few times, with him never being able to kill any enemies. Robert didn't know this king, or believe in his cause, but, it was money in the pocket. He didn't leave, after all, it was more exciting than farm life, until the army attacked a city apparently full of dragon-folk. They sent Robert off to some side of the battle they didn't expect to get any action, just as usual, however, when he was asked to attack the dragon, who was once a man, Robert froze. He couldn't do it, and ran away from battle. He found himself back at the farm, with the king after his hide. Of course, once Robert got back, his little brother, Jake, was missing.
Weakness/Asset: Robert is rather fast, but lacks any kind of good or decent armor. Even in dragon form, his scales are not as tough as they should be.
((Also, I think you're forgetting a non-dragon Laguz... that would be the hawk laguz.))
I have a recommendation, and I need this answered before I put in my app.
I have an idea for a new class - something akin to the Tactician class. Because, as you can see, there really are no foot soldiers that wield both Elemental Magic and Swords aside from the Lord class. The character I'm wanting to make is based on a character I've come up with, but he wields a sword and fire magic.

A: Yes.

When did I say it was accepted?
((Eh, must have read wrong, but you said that the only thing stopping her was the class... meaning that the things I was ranting about would have been accepted.))
(If it was accepted, I would have said something along the lines of: "Accepted, but you might need to change your class." I'm not THAT shallow...)
(That would be nice, thanks. And yes, I am new.)

Of course, you're still going to have to make the changes, and probably correct me on some of this, as I have only played Awakening in the series... starting the PM, now!))
Thief --> Assassin
Pupil --> Mage --> Sage --> Archsage
\-> Shaman --> Druid --> Dark Druid
\-> Summoner
/-> Hero
Journeyman --> Fighter --> Warrior
\-> Pirate --------^
\---> Berserker
Skills Suggestions:

Age: 23
Gender: Male
Race: Manakate
Appearance: In human form, Robert stands at about 5'7", he has short black hair, brown eyes, and is neither muscular or fat.
Class: Villager (for now)
Weapon: A simple bronze lance.
I have an idea for a new class - something akin to the Tactician class. Because, as you can see, there really are no foot soldiers that wield both Elemental Magic and Swords aside from the Lord class. The character I'm wanting to make is based on a character I've come up with, but he wields a sword and fire magic.
