After so much travelling, welcome to.... Burning school town?
Celina had been walking for a long while with Serra fallowing close behind. It had been day's that they did not get a proper pay out for the job they did. It seemed that once someone discovered Celina's magic, they kinda were relunctent to pay... But each time she had to tell her story, explain what happen to her and tell them that in the end it was not her fault. 3/4 of the time people actually listened and accepted her. One time a guy just outright refused to pay her... She had to go and tell him that if he did not pay, she would simply curse him with a unlucky curse and make it that every bird, every squirrel and such would attack him on sighed. The man quickly and reluctantly payed for the job. She seriously hated to have to do this. Serra kept telling her that the bad reputation of warlock's had made it clear that they were not welcome. So since then she actually decided to fake in wish school of magic she came from. Serra kept talking to her about alchemy, about potions and such. She still could use some of it, but not as much as before. Celina guessed that her spell was not completely finished yet. Probably when she would be stronger she would be able to finish it. They then started to approach a town.
"Ok Serra... You know the drill... I hate to do this but people will be a pain if they figure it out. No showing emotions, your a mechanic golem, ok?" Celina then says. Serra sighed and nods.
"Ya I know... I wish I could." she then says. Serra wished to be able to go back to a normal life but there were 2 problems with that. First, she did not have a body anymore, cause of all this. Celina actually told her that she would be working on trying to get either a mechanic body or get some kind of magic to recreate her body. Second of all, cause Celina is not mastered in her magic, she is unable to unbound herself from the spell she used to bound the spell to the golem. Basically, if Celina were to go too far, well, Serra would slowly detach from her metallic body, which she actually appreciated now. More strength, more resistance. She considered herself a bit like those battle mages, physically wise.
Anyway, they continued to walk until they saw smoke coming from a distance. Celina looked at Serra.
"Better go check what going on!" she then says. She then rush towards the school, and then looks at the fire going and the fire fighter not doing anything.
"What the heck are you guy's problem!? Why you not doing your job!" Celina said.
"They deserve it... they are all just snotty stud..." one of them goes to say, until he saw Celina's eyes and started to shiver. Serra moved forwards, towering the man slightly.
"Master, should I shut this punny man's mouth?" Serra asks.
"No... it's ok..." Celina says. She looks at the man.
"If he does his job..." he then says. half the man's then started their water machines and started to extinguish the flames, sensing slightly the dark aura from Celina. Celina shakes her head.
"Seriously... why do people even act like that." she says.
Also, I apologize for the delay - I don't usually get too much computer time every day.))
[Ronin]
I looked at the man in the scorched lab coat that just ambled over towards us. "I'd ask if you're okay, but the answer seems pretty obvious. Do you need any help?" I asked the alchemist... at least, that's what I gathered from his attire and knowledge of Potassium. I then watched as the firefighters and paramedics started doing their jobs due to the words of one girl and her... uh, golem. Strangely, this girl scared me. And I'm an adventurer - I don't scare easy. But it was a relief that innocent people were finally receiving help. "Finally..." I said with relief. I activated my headset to call the Commander. "Commander, this is Ronin. We no longer require assistance - these people finally started doing their jobs," I said.
"That's a relief. Good thing you called when you did - we were just about to leave, and you just saved us the trip. Once you're done there, come back to headquarters - we've got a hot meal waiting for you," he said, ending the transmission. I took my hand off the button, and looked around. The fires were dying down, the medics were getting to work, and there was a person on top of the building.
Wait... what the...
I looked at the man that was on top of the school, but I only caught a glimpse of his pure white hair before he vanished. I didn't say anything, but I knew that I saw someone. "Anyway, my name is Ronin, Deputy Commander of The Dying Star. I'm gonna stick around to make sure that everybody's safe and sound, and the fire is fully doused," I said, watching the fires get extinguished and the wounded get healed.

Fire extinguished, not the anger
Celina sighed in relief as the fires were dying out, and shook her head.
"Seriously, how much stupidity can humanity do... these are times that make me feel like humanity deserve to get a dang slap in the face." she said, annoyed. She looked around for anyone, and saw a man with a certain symbole on his motorcycle. She slowly moves to him, Serra staying behind and looking at the fire being extinguished.
"Excuse me sir... do you know anywhere I could get some work or something? You see... I am just a humble adventure trying to get enough money to live." she then says calmly, giving a slight smile at the moment. Oh, she was still angry towards those fire fighters, but she will let it pass. Serra then walked next to Celina, not saying a word, just observing what was going on.
"And I do hope next time those fire fighters will not HESITATE to help out." she then says looking at them, giving them a chill to their bones with the look she gave them. She sighed.
"Why am I always in situations like this." she told herself. She then notices the crow on the man's shoulder, and senses something about it. She shakes her head slightly.
"And I guess your a animal trainer or something... it is rare to see a crow actually land on someone." she then says.
I turned towards the woman in the dark green clothing who had gotten the emergency crew working again. even though she was a hero, she still unnerved me. "Huh? Oh no, I'm not an animal tamer. I just met this, uh... talking bird," I said, realizing how weird it sounded as it went out of my mouth. "... Anyway, my name's Ronin, Deputy Commander of the Dying Star adventuring organization. If you're looking for work, there are several places you could go. If you're into the adventuring and mercenary life, that's one of the most prominent lines of work in the city. Just out of personal experience, I'd recommend the Dying Star, but there are literally hundreds of adventuring companies in the city," I told her.

No Job for You
"Well, I'm in a'need for a job." I said, scratching my chin and scraping off blowpowder dust. "Can't go back t' the demolitions industry. They keep claimin' that GAS explosions were more pote't than blowpowder, and I'lose a limb every month from the volatile canisters." My complaints of the industry were never taken seriously, damn it. "Would'ya mind telling me' why I know how potions an' compounds explode, and I had t'work in this environment? I got better t'ings to do, like provin' smug smiles how I can d'stroy bridges with just a tiny pinch of these explosives."
"So that's what's up with the emblem..." I say to Ronin as I put away the giant, incrimidating paper back into my bag. I then add "Well, you might as well count me in on this whole 'adventuring' thing... it's not like I've got anything else to do... not like I didn't literally acidentally burn my bridges back to this institute, either." After that, I hear some girl talk about Ronin being an animal tamer, and Ronin denying that fact. From that, I decide to say "Name's Aithale Avanis. You may or may not have heard of my adoptive father, Aegis Avanis... and yes, I can speak, use magic, and do almost anything you humans can do... in case you were wondering." I land on the ground just to to a sort of faux-bow to the lady, and the golem. "And would you be so kind as to give us your name?" I then ask her calmly and polietly. I wondered if this was going to surprise Ronin, after all, he met me when I was badgering the world's dumbest archmage, and probably thought me to be sarcastic or mean... especially with whatever stereotypes humans somehow hold over crows. I then decide to fly up again, this time to the lady's eye level... er... felt safer that way, anyways.

Celina looked at the 2 of them, and looked down slightly.
"Names... Celina Silver...wind." she then says, lying about her family name. Last thing she wanted to happen would be for people to actually know her origins and run away or something. She heard so many horrible tales of what her father did... so many crimes, and each time someone tried to deny him, they were pushed away by some invisible force. She sighed calmly.
"And this is S.E.R.R.A... A golem I was able to bring to life using a quart crystal and many chemical ingrediants. And as for work, it could be interesting." she then says, giving a small smile. Serra looked down at Aithale, and suddenly from her visor a slight light came by, not that long, but just for a slight moment.
"Master, maybe we should go to the Dying star." Serra then sudgested.
"Ya... Will do. Thank you for the information. But... I think I might want you to show me the way." she then says in the calmest and sweetest way she could do. Last thing she wanted was to unnerve this man. She then looks at the crow.
"And I did hear about some magic being able to do that... So what was used? Alchemy? Thaumaturge? Bah... sorry... just interested a bit too much." she then says, smiling.
"Nice to meet you, Celina. You too, S.E.R.R.A. And I'd be glad to show you the way. But know this - it's going to be hard. You're going to have to train very hard before you're ready to go on any actual missions, and in many cases, I'll be your drill instructor. And I'm no pushover," I warned. "You're going to need approval from the Commander himself, as well. It's rare that he actually denies somebody a job, but it's happened. I'll meet you all at this address," I said, writing down the address on a piece of paper. I then turned towards the Alchemist, and put a hand on my chin. "Well, if you need work, you could always work for the Dying Star. You'll probably be able to blow stuff up," I said to him.

"Thanks..." Celina then says, but then had a unsure voice about the test thing. She looks back at Serra, who shrug with her suit of armor. She then breath deeply.
"I think I could... but... I don't know how to explain it..." she then says. She looks down slightly.
"I am... actually not a alchemist..." she says in a low voice, sad a bit about her origin. "I don't even know if people would accept me..." she adds.

A Job for Me
I took a good look at the scrap piece of paper. I slowly took it away from my watchful eyes, passing it onto to... Celina? I have no idea how a bunch of people just decided to surround us (it was just the three of us if the crow was counted, and now five, if the walking armour was counted). "Don' think so. I'd rather show those damned idiots how blowpowder's better than their gas."
((Can't post a lot atm - have stuff to do, like eating.))
"Yup, see ya there, Ronin!" I say to Ronin. I then notice the alchemist saying something, and decide to be somewhat nice with all of this mess. I fly over to the archmage, and take the feathers out of his pocket. Oddly enough, they were still intact, and I could still see a faded curse rune on them, meaning that they could be reactivated. He seemed to like blowing things up, and these feathers have been cursed to burn... well, that and the fact that apparently crow feathers were pretty widely used by alchemists, I figured that he could get some use out of these. I fly back to the alchemist, feathers in beak, and show them to him. Well, I had to drop them on the floor, which somehow caused them to spark. "Well... uh... I kinda figured that you're an expert at making things explode, these feathers have been cursed to burn under almost random terms, and... maybe you could find some use in these." I explain to him, before flying off to that address. It appears as though the place was really close to the institute... either that, or I was lost... yup, there's Celina and S.E.R.R.A... it's official, I'm lost. I land on Celina's shoulder, and ask "I'm horrible with directions, would you mind taking me to the place?" I then explain "I already tried, myself, and ended up back here... heh..."

"Sure... I don't mind at all." Celina then says to the bird, smiling slightly. She then start walking towards where the Dying Star was. Serra was moving close behind, and then let out a sighed.
"Celina, I guess they are gon..." she says then seeing Aithale on her shoulder. Celina looks at her. She kinda sounded human right there. She just hoped that this would not blow their cover on what type of magic they use. Celina though a bit. She probably would have in the end to show them when there would be the tests... Seriously, you're gonna need to describe everything as if it's been made for both technology and magic.))
