<Casey>
Casey had just gotten into town, just dropped her stuff off in her hotel room, and just walked outside when she saw the girl get taken away. Casey had seen the situation before, had nearly had it happen to herself, that you're taken away because you don't have your necklace, your love line, the thing that's supposed to keep you humane and real in the world that is said to be bad without the gifts of the necklaces.
When Casey hears the shouting, her eyes go to see a fellow she'd never seen before and a man who looked like an agent. She couldn't help but feel somewhat sick to see the boy in trouble and rushed forward. She wore jeans and a tank in the warm weather, her necklace chain obvious though the charm, or key or item, whatever you wanted to call it, wasn't visible as she ran forward.
"Hey, hey leave him alone," Casey says as she manages to push her way through the crowd. She didn't know the guy, he wasn't wearing a necklace, and she was sticking up for him. Her sister would've been proud as well as call her stupid for risking such a thing.
"It's not like he did anything," Casey commented as she ran forward to try and push the agent away though she didn't think there was going to be any results considering the size difference and everything. "You don't know what happened. That could be his line that you just took away who forgot to put her necklace on this morning. He could have woken up in a rush and forgotten his, it's not like they can be perfect," Casey announces as she looks up at the guard finding courage from somewhere she had never touched.
"This boy's existence is what he has done wrong! He's committed a crime and shall therefor pay for it." The Agent says as he shrugs the girl off of him. "Enough." Nathan says getting angry. "I know you made a promise Nathan, but you know what you have to do. I know." Nathan says as he punches the Agent in the gut. In three more actions Nathan was away from the Agent and ready to punch him again. The Agent grabs his gut from the force, but is not really phased by it. "I told you I've done nothing wrong, I am not a Glitch." Nathan says as the Agent shoves him. Nate stumbles backward into the girl who had tried to help him, falling over in the process. "Ouch, sorry about that." Nathan reaches into his bag and pulls out his necklace, holding it up to the Agent. Nathan holds out his hand behind him to help the girl up. "Now, please leave me alone. Sir"

Casey looked from the tent to this guy before she saw what he held in his hand. "Oh my god," she whispered as she saw it. She accepted his offered hand and reached into her tank to grab her own necklace and bring it out from where it had been hidden. "He's not a glitch," Casey says as she looks at the man that had attacked the boy. She wasn't sure what to think of considering he seemed to be talking to Nathan who may or may not be him. Casey let to of her necklace as she looked at the one in the boys hand, shocked to see the shapes she had always expected to see but never really imagined.
Nathan didn't take his focus away from the Agent. "I would like to ask you to leave me alone now, I have much important business to attend to." Nathan says to the Agent. "Yeah yeah. Whatever, just get out of here." The Agent responds to him as he gets in his own vehicle. "Sorry about that." Nate says to the girl as he turns to her, he puts his necklace back where he got it from. As he looks back at her he notices her necklace. " Y-Your necklace. It's.. It's the other half. " He says, shocked. "I guess this means I get to know you, right?" He asks, even though he is almost sure of the answer he will get. Nathan smiles, his face gentle and calm.

Casey looks up, her eyes large. "I... I guess so..." She manages looking down before looking up to finally look at the guy. "I'm Casey by the way," Casey says with a small smile as she realizes what this meant. She was going to have to get to know this guy, love him, and be with him for the rest of their life. It was strange that they met this way, but Casey could and would accept it. It wasn't like she had a choice anyway. "So, was that your friend or something?" Casey asks motioning to where she had seen the car with the girl drive off.
" Im Nathan, and yeah, she was. " Nathan say looking in the direction tha t the Agents had driven off. "I'm probably going to have to save her." He chuckles with a smile. Na than had a feeling of happiness grow inside him, he never expected to meet his other half. "I-I'm really glad that we met." He adds awkwardly. "We should go somewhere that we can talk. I mean.. I want to know more about you." Nathan says with a smile. Nathan stood over he by a few inches, he was a tall fellow, so it was no surprise. The odd part was the he never spoke in L ogical Thinking, it was himself, Nathan Thorne.
Astrid groaned opening her eyes. There was a serious pounding on her head and she felt like her throat was on fire. Rubbing her eyes to clear them she looked around trying to get a visual of her surroundings. She was in some kind of cage, inside of a warehouse. There was boxes covering the sides in rows and machinery to move the boxes around. Next to her were several other cages, but the others were covered in sheets. Looking at her own cage she could see no easy way out of it. She would have to lift the entire cage to get out and that wasn't happening without the use of a machine. "Well sh*t."

"I..." Casey can't help but be surprised that Nathan would rather go somewhere to talk than try to go after his friend considering that was just what he was going to do before getting caught by the ships agent that rendered that plan rather useless. "I suppose, I am new in town though so I don't know locations or places," Casey says with a faint smile as she moves run a hand through her hair. It was a strange day, that was for sure, nothing could change that fact. Casey wondered why Nathan didn't wear his necklace like everyone did and was supposed to before stopping. She would ask him later.
"Good, while we talk, I'll be thinking of a way to get her out of government hands." Nathan says to Casey, not meaning to make it sound like she was property. "Charging in head on would be stupid, so I'll need to think of something." Nathan begins to walk away and gestures for Casey to follow. "So, what is your favorite color?" He asks, Nathan knew why he felt so connected to this girl, but he was so surprised by the fact that they had met. Unless you are searching for them, the chances of finding your other half were below 50%. Nathan had met her by chance, and he was grateful.
((I'm thinking of an app, but I have an interesting question: What do you do if you want to naturalise in a country without the necklace system? I think all countries may have the system though...))
((I'm thinking of an app, but I have an interesting question: What if you (theoretically) separated from your necklace and naturalised in another country without this system? I think all countries may have the system though...))
((I believe that all countries have the system. If you were separated from it, you'd be considered a Glitch and arrested.))

(Yeah, all countries have them. :))
Casey, still quite surprised that this was happening, followed Nathan and answered. "Blue I guess. I was wanting to know, is there a reason you don't wear your line?" Casey asks looking up at Nathan, wondering what was supposed to happen after all this. They were supposed to make some sort of bond or something somehow and then they'd be connected forever. It seemed strange to think so. "I mean, I was just wondering considering you can get in those types of situations and stuff," Casey explains trying to not sound as if she were prying into his life when they just met.
((I'm afraid that I'll have to bail. Sorry if this cause any inconvenience.))
Jacob smiled, "Just Tris? Okay then." He looked over Tris's shoulder and noticed that a familiar silhouette getting nearer. It was the bus and it was early, too early. He didn't even had time to buy some foodstuff. He shrugged, stood up with his suitcase and waited for the bus to stop and open the doors. The doors opened with a hiss and he stepped through...

"Oh cool, I like blue too." Nathan said with a smile. He continues walking towards his apartment with Casey. "Uh.. Yeah, I was scammed at one point, then robbed. It left me pretty hurt, and made me really paranoid." Nathan said still smiling. "But, Im over it so it doesn't bother me. I just don't wear it to prevent that from happening. I guess I could start wearing it again, now that I've met you." Nathan adds. He knew that this girl was really his other half, he felt different inside. He felt like he would do anything to protect her, and would let nothing get between them. Nathan's smile was still soft and gentle, he was genuinely happy.

Casey smiles up at Nathan, and gives a silent sigh. "You don't have to if you don't want to. My sister had her line almost stolen too," Casey says with a nod to show her understanding. It was a scary thing thinking your love line could possibly get stolen from you then make you considered a glitch. Maybe it was jut thought that if you weren't strong enough to protect your line to your love, you are a glitch and don't deserve it. With a shrug, she looks around before going back to Nathan. She never thought it would feel like this to finally have found who's supposed to be your soul mate. It was something she had never really thought of, but she could tell something was different about this guy, as if there was something entirely different.
Appearance: Large broad shouldered German. His head of blonde hair is shaved short. Green-blue eyes.
His face is broadly built, with defines cheekbones and a broad rounded chin with thin lips. Bush browed.
Necklace: Half-oak. Half of Deutschenlied's lyrics is inscribed below.
Personality: Dry sort of person, with no real humor all his own. Perhaps defines as being morbid at times. Though appropriately learned, isn't the sharpest tool in the shed. Enjoys a solid drink, as well as being a robust physical person. Lazy.
Biography: Wilhelm was born in Dusseldorf, Germany. His parents were of the first generation couples to receive the international government's love necklaces, and were of that generation hailed for its success in bringing international stability to the world. Of course critics often shouted the plan down for encouraging too much integration that blurred the lines between national identity and independence. Never the less, his parents were all the same a part of that sector of the first generation issued to proclaim the opposite.
The opposition became largely ignored as state-sponsored love continued to grow as both a civic process, but a social norm by Wilhelm's birth. And like his parents, he was awarded a necklace all his own with the artificial matchmaker having well performed its duties and selected a mate for him beyond his currently existing circle of relationships.
In school, Wilhelm performed to expectation at best. He was hardly lauded as the best student, or the worst. He was hardly spoke of, except for graduation where he left the public schools of the German territories and entered into the wider world. And as many youths his age tried, he attempted to keep in touch with his friends. But as time and duties had it, they slowly lost contact and spread over the region or the world for one reason or another.
Wilhelm was at first hesitant to seek out his partner, instead enjoying his role as an apprentice to a German tool and dye maker. And after all, in a world where one's relationships are per-determined, with the only personal hurdle being to seek them up: what is there to gain in experimentation? So believed Wilhelm, who even during his youth treated girls with the sort of casual indifference he shared with his male friends, never going beyond that formally ill-spoken “Friend Zone”. After all, when he found his girl they'd be locked for life. No need to really experiment and drive anything further.
As he pressed on into his twenties, his relations and community was going concerned he wasn't going about his destiny. Several casual interrogations at his apartment by them and independent nagging from his parents finally spurred the young man onward to look for his per-ordained love.
Based on the indications from his necklace, his original belief for finding his love was to scour Germany. He traveled from Munich to Berlin to Hamburg to Frankfurt. Visiting social “love clubs” and searching the regional data-bases to no avail on his love.
He even explored as far as Austria, and then to the range of Germany sang about in Deutschenlied, the son whose lyrics were half-inscribed on his own.
He finally came to a lead in Alascea-Lorraine. And though his destined partner was no longer on mainland Europe, it had given him a lead. Based on her current travel status, Wilhelm found she had recently took a trip into New York for family reasons. Eager – and anxious – to find an end to his quest, he filed for a flight to the Big Apple to meet his love.

All Agents bring their victims to a warehouse to get picked up by transportation. They would sneak in, get Astrid out, and get out as quick as possible. Nate has a fast car, not the fastest, but it gets the job done. It should be perfect for what they need to do. "We are going to sneak in and sneak out. It sounds simple, but executing the plan may be difficult. You can stay here if you want, but I have to save Astrid." Nathan says in a more serious tone as he approaches his designated garage.

Casey can't help but feel sick as she hears Nathan mention trusting her with his life. Sure she understood what he meant, sure she felt the same way, but still... It felt strange to give someone your trust so simply. Casey couldn't hall but feel, uncertain. Sure she felt different around Nate, sure he seemed to be a cool person and she was going to be okay being with him, but was what she felt really love? After all, they did just meet. Then again, the necklaces are full proof. Maybe she just needed to be with him longer... That was it. Casey smiles slightly, shaking her head to the ground before looking at their destination. "I don't know how or why you think this'll be so easy, but it sounds like fun. So, what's your connection with Astrid?" Casey asks using the name Nate had been using. She wasn't jealous or anything, but when people usually had someone taken by the government, you give up on that person and cold with the loss.
((also dinh thw government woukdnt ve too interested whether or not one person didnt become interested in their love line, just the majority. fix those few problems and you will be accepted))
((trying to type this on my phone might not be the best, escpecially with spelling...))
Astrid sat down at the bottom of the cage leaning against the bars. observing the warehouse she could tell that the guards would all be outside. None of them wanted to be near the glitch. She sighed as the thoughts bumped around in her head. Stupid system. Looking around for anything she could use as a weapon, Astrids eye caught on something. Something she thought was moving. Looking to the spot where she thought she saw something, Astrid realized she was staring right at the cage next to hers covered in the sheet.
