Um, I cannot find it in the settings.. How do I turn it on?
I know we could do those with yours, but not with Texas's. That's why I was saying he needs to do what you were doing.
Replying to this from the ic.
It is peculiar New England would hit the ground running with weapons development considering their economy would currently be in a state of reformation and trade links haven't been established. I don't think you would have the metallic resources necessary for tank construction.
However.
The one advantage you would have over the old RNF is several notable economic centers, particularly New York, which would allow you to set up trade routes once the blockade is handled. This would allow you to buy tanks from Canada or Spain, which makes the most sense (not everyone makes their own weapons, I went through the old RP with no original weapons aside from producing a modified version of a german assault rifle, and even those were produced in limited quantities).
I wouldn't worry about the immediate military pressure because the Non-communist world is already jumping to your defense with a Spanish armada heading your way and Canadians dropping kraft dinners on you. You have to remember that the old iteration of this RP was a world where the number one concern of the non-communist nations was the rise of communism, so any crack in the socialist/communist world is going to be exploited to no end. You are in a good place lol.
(though considering the RNF managed to make battle ships out of swamp mud and NWC is currently creating state of the art weapons out of pine trees and cold, these tanks wouldn't be the weirdest thing to have happened lol)
I am aware of all this ( though I appreciate your input ) and messaged Aaron about it to make sure I wasn't stretching possibility too much. Hopefully he gives me some advice and we can somehow make it work/ make sense.
But, if it makes any more sense, the development hasn't reached the point where they are working with metals/actually building the tanks. It's still in it's planning stages for the most part.
Also Nova NWC weapons usually are a great deal more advanced than yours, and you call Canada out dated, the Metal Narwhale is newer than the F-15
Oh and village i spent a year making my tech, and learn about Canada (Canada is a awesome ally) and BC/Alberta's resources before you say that.
Though you do have to remember that you aren't playing all of Canada, and that the real world has globalistic developments such as NATO, where the precipice nations are more or less "on their own" in terms of development. More then likely the cutting edge technology in this world would be coming from the older stable nations like China, Spain, the United States, and mainland Canada, and places that lack that foundation but are semi-stable would be more or less copying from those.
That might be a little too realistic for a game... but I digress lol
So, you have Boston. Still good though.
AND STOP JUMPING ON MY NATION, why does everyone always jump on the girls ;n;
Oh and I already have the M1 Abrams. So you probably do to, hug.
Nah, we'll just send Spain home.
I thought the two Canada's and Spain both supported the NER? Why would the NWA be engaging Spain?
Also, Texan, it is in comparison to modern day borders I think... So Ukraine would be "Ukraine and the south western corner of Russia."
You do? Hm. I think I'm just going to delete the whole tank thing and just take it easy for now. I don't want to seem like I'm stretching New England's capabilities too much.
Erp, I always think the general "East Coast" when I think New England lol.
Though I was thinking, wasn't New York City and Boston flattened in the old RP, like mentioned by their names as flattened? By now there would have been time to repair, but it is an interesting piece of back history to consider when writing about the area...
