Prescott, who had finished his lunch, reached into his Prada bag and pulled out the Silmarillon. He opened to the first page and began reading, engrossed in text. He sat there, beside Luna, concentrated on the book, slowly reading and turning the pages, consumed by the imaginative fantasy of the Tolkiens. He completely disregarded anyone's existence around him.

My parents didn't let me go to school. They said to get ready and go tomorrow. They were the weirdest people I knew, but this happenned frequently. I grabbed the designer backpack my mother insisted on me buying, and pushed all of the empty books and binders into my bag. I closed it, grabbed a pair of wedges, and ran down the stairs.
"I'm going out." I yelled over to my mom, my purse waiting for me where I last left it by the door.
"Ok, but don't come back too late, come back before sun set for dinner." She said back in her posh accent.
"Louis, I need a ride, but can we please not take one of the huge attention catching cars?" I complained. I didn't want to draw too much attention, except all the cars were expensive, and my clothes were designer, it ruined my plans of not meeting people who are obsessed with materials.
"I will bring up the porsche then." Louis said as I heard him about to walk out the door.
"No, its fine, I can walk to the car." I yelled over to him as I finished buckling my shoes and walked out the door, purse in hand. I stepped into the car, and to my suprise, louis was already inside.
"Were to Jessica?" He asked me as if it were his preset reaction,
"Main street, please, but avoid the school if you can, I don't want them to think I'm skipping, even though I am."


(( VOILA! My first post. Its literally just so I'm not inactive. I'll go to the school tomorrow, I just thought it was weird to go to school in the middle of the day ))

Prescott, after reading about 30 pages or so, closed the book and put it away. He had noticed that Luna has left him, much like everyone he's ever made friends with. Prescott noticed a note, floating gently in the breeze, he grabbed it and read it, it said 'Thanks for the lunch, - Luna.' He spent a few minutes folding the piece of paper into an origami hummingbird and placed it by the tree. He got up and walked back inside, towards his locker.

Charlie, having woken up late, does not have a lunch to eat. He considers just walking home, but he decides that he'll just power through not having a lunch and try to make a couple new friends. He walks past the gates on his way to the lunchroom and sees a kid jump down from a tree and roll. He also sees a couple people talking by the gates, one of which hits her head on the side of the gate after doing a little jump. After a brief internal deliberation, he chooses to talk to the two. He walks up to them, unsure of what to say. He just barely catches the girl whisper, "I'm Luna." From first glance, she seems like the kind of girl that was chill and easy to talk to, but she definitely also seemed like the kind of girl that didn't approve of breaking rules. Charlie hoped he didn't smell like smoke. As he stops walking up to them, the other guy makes sure she's alright. He seems like a chill kind of guy too. To avoid just awkwardly walking up to them and standing there, he decides to just introduce himself to the two.

"Hey, Luna and other guy, I'm Charlie."

Charlie realizes that the reason why she's practically whispering is because she's shy. Surprisingly shy. He has to hold back a laugh, but he starts smiling. "Oh my God, you're adorable. I just wanna pinch your cheek or something. But I won't, cuz that's...rude."

Prescott got to his locker and unlocked it with the combination 36 - 4 - 36. He put a few of his books in the locker and took out what he needed, then, he closed it and walked back outside.

Prescott takes the books handed to him. "Oh, it's no problem," he says to Mona, "I probably should've been watching where I was going."

"Siek. That's a cool name. Really...foreign and stuff." Charlie smiles. Suddenly, a though comes into his head. "So are you two a ...thing?" he asks curiously.

Aaron was feeling slightly better as the teacher came in. Aaron started scribbling on a piece of paper as the teacher introduced himself. The teacher walked up to Aaron and said "What's this?" As the Teacher grabbed the piece of paper, Aaron replied "N-nothing sir" The teacher crumpled the piece of paper and threw it in the trash. "Back to buisiness" said the teacher

You luckily managed it recover two of the apples unscathed, and you eat them while walking around the tree, intent on finding it what's going on between he two people you'd seen there earlier. But it looks like your curiosity will not be satisfied today, as they aren't there. Oh well. It was as good a spit as any to sit and eat.

"Well, have a good one," he said, walking away to get to English.

Charlie noticed Luna scooting back and looking uncomfortable. He probably shouldn't have made that cheek-pinching comment. It was a bit degrading, looking back on it. He'd only meant it to be a compliment. With a slight sigh, he decides to apologize later if he gets the chance. Again, the concept of first impressions are on his mind. Now he was both a bad student and most likely a jerk (to put it lightly). "Bye, Siek," he mutters, also pretty sure that Siek wasn't his biggest fan. He starts walking down to English, his next period.

((Oh my gosh! I'm so sorry for my inactivity, I was busy because of Christmas. Merry Christmas to you guys if you celebrate it! I just want to say, thank you to those who took charge while I was gone. Sarge, if you would like to be, you can be a mod. I appreciate all the help. I'll go through the apps and make an OOC and I'll put up all the accepted apps. CJ, I think lunch is typically after third period. Someone please tell me what period it is right now))

Prescott arrived in English, it not being his favorite class, he sat in rear middle of the classroom. He took out his required writing utensils and his notebook and waited for the bell to ring.

((People are saying it's third period. Lunch happened after second I guess. I just edited mine to say "next period" instead of third, because I have no idea.))

Charlie sits down in English, pulling out his notebook and continuing a poem he'd been writing. English was his favorite class, by far. He usually did pretty well. He loved reading and writing fiction, or just creative writing in general. Essays and non-fiction were the bane of his existence.

((You guys are lucky. I get a 25 minute lunch and that's it. We can't even do anything at lunch))

((I have a 20 minute break after 2nd period and a 30 minute lunch after 4th. It's a pretty good system))

((I get a 20 minute lunch period during 7th period which is closely monitored by teachers and vice principals))

((Well I think for Everwood we'll stick with a 20 minute break after first, then an hour lunch break after third. You'll be permitted to go outside to eat or eat in the lunch room. The school courtyard has several trees, a fountain, and grass. I'll put all this in the main post. It's alright if today's schedule is messed up, it's the first day!))

((And I just got all the apps from the first page on the main post. I'll go ahead and post IC, then I'll finish with the apps. I wish this was my job... I love doing this))

I woke up and rubbed my eyes. I looked at the clock. I blinked and looked again. Robby jumped on my face and licked me as I realized the clock was correct. "Oh my gosh!" I jumped out of bed and started to rush then I realized I was late anyway so I slowed down. I put on my typical outfit- jeans, a t-shirt, and my black hoodie. I ran downstairs into the kitchen and poured Robby some food and water. He barked and started eating. I grabbed a Poptart and pulled my sneakers on. I picked up my backpack as I walked out the door, locking it behind me.
