Cutie Mark: Based on the compass rose, arranged to indicate movement forward, due to Ferrun's talent with navigation and natural drive to explore. Can be seen in Ferrun's appearance.
Backstory: Born in the city of Manehattan to a fairly average family, Ferrun had a rather mediocre childhood; the usual daily cycle of waking up, going to school, returning home, resting, and repeat. It wasn't until he had reached 10 years of age that he had discovered his love of exploration, during a trip with his parents to Ponyville to pick up some critical supplies for one of his father's work projects that were not available in Manehatten. While his parents were busy with their shopping, Ferrun wandered off, exploring the rural village and developing a rapidly increasing admiration of nature, opposed to the tall, overpowering structures that formed Manehattan. It was not long before he discovered the Everfree Forest, using a sketching pad his parents had given him to entertain himself with to draw out a crude map of the initial area of the forest.
Soon, though, nightfall had come, and Ferrun made his way out of the forest, emerging with not only his map, but his cutie mark with it. Despite his accomplishments, his parents, concerned for his safety, berated him for his reckless behavior, having spent the day searching the village for him. Though he knew he would be punished for leaving his parent's side- and especially for entering a place like the Everfree Forest- Ferrun did not regret his actions, desiring the opportunity to explore again. Such an opportunity, however, never came again during his adolescence.
Unable to adventure in nature, Ferrun decided to make the most of the city's own landscape, spending much of his free time exploring the city via the rooftops. It was during his teenage years that Ferrun began to learn in the art of free running, learning to make use of the city's rooftops to make his own adventures where the lack of a truly unexplored area to discover had failed him. His parents, unaware of what he was actually partaking in, believed him to be spending his time at the local library in the area, advancing in his studies and training his mind rather than his body. Even as Ferrun aged enough to move out and find a place of his own to call home, his parents were unaware of the activities he spent many a day doing.
More recently he has been earning some money leading urban explorations and teaching other young, adventurous ponies the arts of free running. Having spent the past five years exploring the same city repeatedly, he once again has yearned to explore the unknown of the Everfree Forest, and has been saving what he has earned to purchase supplies and tools for the journey. Just recently, he has purchased a ticket for a train to Ponyville, and with his equipment he is eager to begin his journey.
Personality: Ferrun Lodestone has been described as many things by his peers; mostly adventurous, rather bold, somewhat headstrong, occasionally foolish, and sometimes even scatterbrained. He generally does not like to remain in a single place for too long, preferring to move between one place to the next, exploring the unknown of the area he's in before losing interest and moving on to the nearest area he hasn't yet explored. Ever since the journey with his parents, he's had a certain love of nature, especially forested and rural areas, and feels he has a significant connection to the Everfree Forest, mostly due to how vast and unknown the entirety of it is. He's said before that it's the only place that he would enjoy living in, though most of his city-friends have taken the claim as a joke.
Other: Objects among Ferrun's supplies include, but are not limited to: a large grid-covered (but otherwise blank) sheet of paper, various writing implements, a machete, navigation tools, and some kind of strange potion-based lantern that he obtained from some blue gryphon.

Other:Drawing made by ValkonX11
No offense, but your spelling and grammar makes me a bit reluctant to approve you. But nonetheless, Approved.
Mane/Tail: Midori. (#E3F988) Her hair is spiky and goes back, and hangs a bit on the front. She is usually wearing a loose officer hat. Her tail is moderately long and wavy.
Cutie Mark: An turning propeller, signifying her talent with aerodynamics. (Though ironically, she's not that great on her flying.)
Personality: Fuselage is a very reliable pony; she gets the jobs done and gets it done quick. She is never at fault when works needs to be done, and she doesn't meddle with petty issues.
She is seen also as authoritative, though also unaggressive; Fuselage treats her own comrades almost as if they were her secondary family.
Despite being a captain of an army/guard reserve (soon to be major), she is barely seen as the "military work" kind of officer. Fuselage is always occupied; if she isn't checking the cannons or giving work to the lower ranked soldiers, she's cleaning her revolver or building stuff in her workshop. In conclusion, Fuselage is a pragmatic and imaginative soul.
She does, however, has her flaws. Fuselage is easily pressured, and also overprotective. Her fairness sometimes makes her unaware when a pony is cheating her off. She easily trusts other ponies, which usually leads to terrible results or herself getting affected.
Backstory: Fuselage was born in Midway, a town located west of Canterlot. Her father was a hydroelectric power plant worker. She has two siblings: One younger brother and one (even) younger daughter.
Her talent was actually implied to be related to physics, mechanics, and dynamics when she was young; Fuselage loved to see how everything worked ; she disassembled and recreated small machinery that was capable of flying like pegasi in midair.
She had gained her cutie mark when she had created "fake" wings. Fuselage spent months studying heavier-than-air aircraft so she could create what she thought was a "life-changing invention". (Artificial wings, however, has actually been built years before she got her cutie mark.) Eventually, she put her "invention" to the test. She got an earth pony to volunteer to use her created wings (for science), and made him gallop and jump off the playground tower.
The thing worked, though not in the way she intended. Fuselage thought she could make non-pegasi fly with her creation, though it only served to shortly glide before landing. Nonetheless, everypony was excited when her cutie mark appeared on her flank.
Soon after, Fuselage became a well-known pony in her schools; she had enrolled herself in the Science Fair multiple times, and there was one time where she actually got nominated for the regional Science Fair. She later graduated from the Equestrian Institute of Engineering.
After she graduated, however, she didn't start her occupation as an aircraft engineer; instead, she enlisted for the Royal Equestrian Army. Though her talent had nothing to do with the military, Fuselage had actually dreamed of joining the army since she was young, even saying how "awesome" everything was in there.
Of course, she had to go through grueling training for 14 weeks, and that was just the basic training. After that, she went through "advanced training" for 23 weeks until she officially became a private. (Though she was later promoted to Private First Class two months later.)
She decided to go into officer training; she was commissioned ten weeks later, becoming second lieutenant at 23. She was later promoted to first lieutenant at 25, and switched to the captain of Company G of the 83rd Aerial Infantry Reserve Regiment at age 28. Though working as a military officer, the days at her fort have become idly; she has partly returned to inspecting, building, and repairing airships.
There's nothing that says where this happens or describes any sort of plot.)
I intentionally left the plot and setting out of the question so there's literally no limit for where to start. Somewhat caused by some issues we had on previous roleplays: everyone has a different starting idea and people disagree on what it's going to be. Even when the OP makes it him or herself, it's disagreed upon and dies within a month.
So, it's a "start from scratch" RP, like the first one. Unless, of course, you want me to come up with something. I prefer tragic, "real", and SoL RPs, however.
Age: Er... she's still a filly, and doesn't have her cutie mark
Species: Unicorn
Appearance: Steam Sparks, to say the least, looks rather quirky. Her mane is brown with honey coloured streaks, but it's often done in a messy braid to keep it off of her books or random "Take everything apart" experiments. Her eyes are big, round, and a vibrant shade of orange, ponies have compared her to an owl because of it. She likes to stay up late (Not for a specific reason), and so slight dark circles can be seen underneath them.
She'll sometimes wear a pair of goggles on her forehead when she goes out if she forgets to take the things off when tinkering either by herself or with her mother. Her body itself is very skinny and small, as he has inherited her father's bone structure, who is a Pegasus.
Cutie Mark: She is currently a blank flank, hopefully that'll change.
Backstory: Steam Sparks had a rather uneventful childhood living in Canterlot, she was teased occasionally for her skinniness, but nothing life changing. She prefers learning and reading to ponies, and often kept herself shut up in her room at home. Her father is a business pony, and his constant trips caused the family to move around a lot. The first time this happened, her mother, who had been studying magic for quite a while, made up for it by inventing a small, talking, tin robot for her to be around, otherwise known to her as "Tinz". Since then, Steam Sparks acquired a healthy curiosity for all things technological, though it technically wasn't technology that powered her little robot as much as magic.
For some reason she also acquired a hobby or two: Collecting clocks and taking things apart.
Tinz would normally help her get up in the morning and talk to her, and the two became friends. As she grew, she came to understand that she had inherited her father's light weight Pegasus bone structure, and not her mother's. She had originally thought that she would grow a little more, but that wasn't the case. She had her mind set on the fact that she must have been meant to be a Pegasus, she would sometimes wish that they would have to move to Cloudsdale or something, though she knew that wouldn't happen because her and her mother couldn't walk on the clouds.
Eventually, her family had to move again, this time to a sleepy little town known as "Ponyville". Bags were packed, train tickets were bought, and they were off again. (Abrupt and boring ending to that, sorry)
Personality: Steam Sparks is rather anti-social and rude to most ponies she meets. She prefers to stay in her room and read or play with clocks rather than socialize or party. She is a bright filly with a very curious and inquisitive mind. Though she feels the need to question the motives of just about everything. She's not very openly trusting towards most ponies, and definitely not openly kind. She can act like a perfect know-it-all (Or like a perfect idiot) when she chooses to. She is quite sensitive about her small size and skinniness, and has a quick temper about it too. She hates to lose and she hates being proved wrong, though surprisingly, she doesn't like to pick fights, instead preferring to be passive and just let the other party say what they want as long as it doesn't involve her size. Sparks has a sharp tongue and her voice is often layered with sarcasm. However, moving on to her better points, she is a hard working and industrious filly. If you can gain her trust or respect, she will be incredibly loyal to no end. She'll occasionally show little bouts of kindness or generosity, but mostly stays out of everypony's way.
Other: Facts on Tinz:
Tinz looks something along the lines of this
His eyes are the shade of the magical aura used to fuel him, so they are currently orange, as Sparks is the one fueling it.
Tinz is a cheery and energetic robot, though very clumsy, he often manages to break a limb or head off, which Sparks and her mother always need to fix. He wants nothing more than joy and friendship all around, which obviously gets on Sparks's nerves...
Tinz was supposed to be named "Tins", but this was before Steam Sparks knew how to spell properly, so she spelled it "Tinz".
Tinz is not very big, in fact he's the size of a small kitten.
Random Facts on Sparks:
She loves oranges
She wants to learn Chemistry or Alchemy, but has a fear of everything blowing up in her face.
She has Arachnephobia.
And a bunch of nuts and volts litter her room.
((Sorry for the boring bio... but not a lot of her life has been lived yet))

I see this isn't dead (dance party!) and now I will apply. I drew a picture very quickly just for this. :3 It's not that great...
Name: Muddy
Gender: Female
Age: school-age filly
Species: Earth pony
Appearance:
(Merp... It looks terrible...)
Cutie Mark: N/A
Backstory: Muddy lived in Ponyville with her parents in a small cottage located near the schoolhouse. There never seemed to be a single worry in the world for the young filly. She often played outside all by herself, as everypony seemed to be so busy or had other friends that were more interesting. It didn't matter whether or not Muddy had a friend to talk to, as she enjoyed some alone time. Many times Muddy would end up far away from home, off on her own carefree adventure.
Whenever Muddy wasn't outside, she would get creative and make a bunch of arts and crafts. Her favorite activity was to bring in the mud from outside and use it to make "food" and temporary toys/figures. Of course, her parents weren't too happy with their daughter's messy behavior. Muddy didn't seem to know any better and didn't particularly listen to them. Her bedroom is a complete mess.
She also really loved to read, most preferably adventure books. Muddy may have not been the brightest tool in the shed, but she still loved to learn. There was never a day when Muddy stopped asking questions. Most ponies didn't like Muddy that much, finding her both annoying and stupid.
Even though the filly basically had no friends, Muddy found a brighter side to (almost) every situation. She didn't want to be put down by everypony's rejection and insults that they threw at her. All that mattered to her was to have an adventure in life.
Personality: Muddy isn't one that you would call very intelligent, as she doesn't really understand many concepts and ideas. She is aware of her "stupidity", but doesn't let that get in the way of her love to learn. She is mostly quiet and to herself, as no one really wants to hear her ramble on and on and on and... If someone were to show friendship to Muddy, she would reveal her loud, hyper self and become more open. Her innocence keeps her positive and happy about the things that count in life. She has no grasp on what is good and what is evil. Nor does she really know what's right from wrong, causing her to be a little misbehaved. She is very messy and a complete slob; she's not afraid of getting dirty. One of Muddy's best traits is her knack for adventure. She loves to hear tales of great treasures and action and wants to explore the whole world. When in the face of danger, she knows to be brave ("Adventurers are fearless!") and stand up for herself. Her ignorance isn't really a good thing, as she does not understand the feeling of being in danger.
Other:
Again, the drawing is made by me.
She looks up to the character Daring Do very much.
One of her wishes is to explore every inch of the Everfree forest.
If you can't already tell, she loves mud, dirt, and making a mess.
Muddy is actually very weak physically, but strong emotionally.
Sorry if it's not that good. I wanted to be a filly and I am a bit unsure how to stretch out the short life of a young pony.

Gender: Male
Age: 23
Species: Unicorn
Appearance:

No offense, but your spelling and grammar makes me a bit reluctant to approve you. But nonetheless, Approved.
Age: 28
Gender: Female
Species: Pegasus
Appearance: Eye color: Pale green. (#98FB98)
Coat: Copper rose. (#996666)
Wow. Guess people don't like MLP that much anymore.
Really, we need more people to start this up.
Gender: Female
Age: Er... she's still a filly, and doesn't have her cutie mark
Other:
Facts on Tinz:
Approved.

Sorry if it's not that good. I wanted to be a filly and I am a bit unsure how to stretch out the short life of a young pony.
