IC: (A short intro, so some things are left to be rp'ed )The magic world is flourishing, the House of Life getting an influx of trainees over the most recent years. However, little do they know that the god of Evil and Chaos is rising. Set, god of the deserts and chaos, is making a move for the Pharaoh of the gods. With Ra out of the picture because of Isis poisoning him so Osiris and later Horus could be Pharaoh, Set has no one to contest his power except for Horus.Other gods are rallying behind him as well, sick with how humans are treating the world they consider there's. Sobek, god of Crocodiles, Neith, the goddess of weaving and the hunt. Nephthys, Set's wife, and other miner deities. With this many gods, even the House of Life, who have spent centuries learning how to deal with gods, are daunted. Only few realize the only way to deal with this threat is by reigniting the old ways, and following the path's of the gods once again. The magician Garai Hethia is leading the Brooklyn House, also known as the Twenty-First Nome. He organizes the teaching of the nome's new recruits in the path of the gods, like determining who they will follow. ( I don't mean he chooses, I mean he confirms if you don't know.) It will be difficult to teach, because of the various paths, but if he can't, it's the end of the world.
The various initiates of the Twenty-First nome were in their bedrooms, either sleeping peacefully or waking up. It was the first day of training for everyone. Not just the training Drew and Lucian had done, learning about the history of it or a year, but actual training. The magic kind. Garai mentally accounted for everyone in his head. The Geb kid, the follower of the goddess Ma'at, and Drew and Lucian. Everyone was told the day before to meet in the super-bowl class gymnasium that they had, so he waited for them there, already planning their first class for magic. He smiled, thinking about the teenage initiates.
Neima was the first to wake up, she for some reason, always woke up at 8:00 AM on the dot. Her copper coloured curls were a mess, it was sticking out like thistles, curly thistles.
She combed it out, but cringed a little, her hair was thick and it was hard to get a comb through it sometimes. She put up one side of it in a sort of doughnut bun and smiled.
... She put on those linen pyjamas that she'd been issued when she'd been accepted into the school. Not exactly figure flattering, but at least they were comfortable. They looked an ungodly white against her tanned skin though, wow.
Her stomach grumbled unhappily, demanding food. Neima gave a little sigh and stretched before walking out of her bedroom door, she tended to get lost in this place though, she didn't have the greatest sense of direction, despite her amazing memory.

"Elysia had somehow managed to engage the creatures in a mass tournament of Tic Tac Toe. "
Drew slept lazily, not wearing the linen pajamas he had. He figured that he didn't need them if he wasn't doing magic yet. He snored loudly, the way he always does when having a lucid dream. The follower of Anubis woke with a start, at the part of his dream where he was stabbed through the chest. When going over it in his head, Drew realized that it was quite gory for a dream.
Stretching, the sixteen year old winced as he felt phantom pains from the dream he had. Shrugging it off, he stood up and went to the bathroom, brushing his teeth and running a brush through his long hair. Sighing loudly, he realized he should probably get down to the gym for more boring lessons, forgetting that today was the day that they started their magic lessons.
Re-entering his room, he threw on the normal linen clothes that he had to wear, grabbing a hoodie to wear since it was a bit chilly. Drew left his room like that, jogging toward the gymnasium to meet with Garai and the other initiates.
Neima noticed some guy jogging past her, "Where're you off to in such a hurry? Is breakfast not an option with today's training?" she called after him, jogging slightly after him, her stomach rumbled again and a few copper curls fell into her eyes, she quickly brushed them away.

"Elysia had somehow managed to engage the creatures in a mass tournament of Tic Tac Toe. "
Drew slowed down as another initiate he didn't know asked him about breakfast. Pondering over Garai's words, he realized that today was magic lessons, and that they were going to go for a brief introduction in the gym then head to the patio for some breakfast. Thank goodness for this random girl! I would have forgot.
"Hey, actually we have to attend an introduction at the gym, then we are gonna have breakfast. By the way, what's your name? I'm Drew."

Sam groans slightly as she rolls over in bed, annoyed that she wasn't asleep still. Groaning again as she sat up, Sam looks around the room and smiles faintly, it was nice, about as nice as her room at home in France where it sat empty now. Rolling her tired shoulders and standing, she raises her hands to the sky in a stretch to work out her tired muscles. "Why on earth can't morning come later in the day?" She asks nobody as she heads to her closet to change out of her soft pajamas. Climbing into a pair of not loose linen pants, a soft short sleeved linen shirt, her comfy dark blue sweatshirt, and her comfy combat boots, Sam walks outside sweeping her hair up into a loose ponytail as she goes. She had grabbed her needed compressed staff and rather smaller than usual ivory tusk wand, that both belonging to her sister, on her way out and was headed to the gymnasium where everyone was being requested.
Walking towards the stairs, Sam sees two kids and smiles faintly as she walks forward. "Hey, heading for the Gym?" she asks.

"No...." Lucian mumbles in his sleep, "Don't poke me, that's weird." He rolls around in the bed for a few seconds before falling from the mattress and landing with a thump against the wooden floor. His eyes widen at the impact and he sits up quickly, looking around in confusion as he finds himself no longer on the bed. "Wha...?" He asks the empty room before feeling a small amount of pain on his side. Under closer examination, he finds himself bruised slightly, the purple color fading away quickly. "Great way to start a soon to be interesting day I suppose..." With that, the Native American boy gets to his feet and looks to his white linen pants with a sigh. "Time to change," Lucian walks to his closet and swings open the door of the closet, looking for something comfortable that fit what he was feeling.
After a moment or so, he takes out a pair of black linen pants and a matching black linen top that hung loosely around his torso. Lucian walks to the mirror and examines his figure, nodding after a moment he looks to his hair and sighs. "I don't think I care to fix this mess." He laughs at the wild hair, standing and knotted all over. He grabs a shabti from the dresser and tosses it to the ground, muttering softly it grows to something the size of a husky and resembles a multitude of animals on four legs. "Morning Blip'" Lucian says to the 'Set Animal' before turning to the dresser and grabbing leftovers from the night before. He tosses the leftover apple to the secret Shabti and watches it eat before smiling. He dispels the creature after a few words and slips it into his pocket.
Lucian makes his way to where breakfast is being served and sits down, realizing he was the first initiate there he sits alone and looks around, confused and wondering where everyone else. He stares at the pool and imagines what it would be like to cuddle with a crocodile. "Probably scaly~" he laughs and turns his attention back to the empty table.
Drew turns towards the girl approaching them, quickly noting that she already has the magic tools that Garai uses, although not quite as well made. Not surprising considering how strong Garai was.
"Yeah, another initiate I presume? I'm Drew."
He didn't know how many other's there were, but at this rate the hallway was gonna fill up.

"Sam, and yeah, kinda," Sam smiles as she walks. "Now I'm gonna have to admit, I've only been here a few days, and haven't been exploring or trying to find my way around, so I may very well get us lost on our way to the gym if I lead us," Sam comments nodding her head slightly as she acknowledges the chance she should forget her way. "Do you know what we're being called for besides that it involves our training?" she asks Drew curiously.
Drew thought it over for a second, before responding.
"All I know is were going to start learning the basics of magic. Also, I've been here while, so allow me to lead us to the gym." he replied, mentally making a note of her name. He gestured with his hand, and started walking slowly, in case she had something else to say.

"Cool," Sam nods as she follows at the same pace Drew walked wondering why they went somewhat slowly. "So do you know much about magic? Or what merging with a god means?" Sam asks uncertainly, hoping she could learn more about what had happened by figuring out why it was bad, or how it worked.
Drew picks up the pace as he notices that they are following.
"Uh, yeah, I know some things. Merging with a god is when the mortal and god are in perfect sync, creating quite a powerful magician. However, if you use to strong of a spell, you'll completely burn up. Magic is... a bit harder to explain. I would have thought you would know considering your carrying magical tools." he finishes, noticing that they almost arrived at the gym were Garai was probably waiting patiently.

Lucian looks around and snaps his fingers, laughing at his own failing. "We're supposed to go to the gym first!" His laugh fades away as he stands and looks one last time to the table. "Breakfast sure would of been nice before whatever it is we're doing in the gym though... Knowing how the last year has been in just normal studies, I don't want to even imagine what it would be like in the magical training sessions." Lucian shrugs softly and heads in the direction of the gym. As he nears the gym, he hears voices down another hall and recognizes all three, two new initiates and the other belongs to Drew. After learning of them all, he avoids the hallway they are I entirely and takes the long way around.

"They belonged to my sister, my family is made up of magicians and I just found out about it recently, so I know very little about all this," Sam says lightly as she gestures all around them. Maybe Catty had told a little white lie and had actually hosted a god... that would be surprising though considering Catty never seemed godly or anything, overprotective and annoying as well as bossy, but godly? Uh-uh... "So you've been here a while then?" Sam asks Drew curiously.
Neima took in her surroundings as she walked, this place was still very intriguing, even on her second day here. Her stomach grumbled, she had a high metabolism, she felt like Shaggy from Scooby Doo, constantly needing to eat or something. Ugh...
Learning was important though, food would have to wait until after.
She wondered where that Geb kid had went...

Drew nodded to the magician family, having had one as well before they were taken.
"Yeah, another kid and I have been here for awhile actually, although we weren't able to learn any magic, just Egyptian history and the magician world. Lucian was his name I believe. Anyway, here we are at the gym."
While they were talking, they arrived at the gym, the doors held open. Drew walked in, waving at Garai who was smiling towards them.

Sam looks around in surprise briefly, it looked like any other gym, just really really big... A lot bigger than the one's in her schools. "Wow," she comments before catching sight of the smiling man and giving a smile and nod in return as greeting. She recognized him, Garai, the one Catty had told her to talk to upon arriving. She had told the guy everything for some reason and was thankful to see him again after it being days since the last time.
Neima gave a polite smile and nod to whom she assumed was "Garai", she felt a little like the odd girl out, with Drew and Sam striking up conversation.
This gym was huge though, where she'd grown up, the gym she'd had was half, no, a quarter of the size of this one. This place truly was amazing. In fact, it was astonishing.
Despite her regular outgoing nature, she was a little too shy to say anything to anyone.

Garai: The magician stood up, noticing that three of the initiates were present. He smiled at them, earning a wave from Drew and the girl he believed to be Samantha, the one who he talked to when she first came. Last was Neima, who he knew little about. He decided to let the teens go to him, and wait for the others. ((I'm guessing the Dman isn't online until later, so he can make an intro and act like he was already here, or act like he was running late. Seems like someone with his personality ic would do lol))
Drew: Noticing that Garai was content to wait for the others before starting, Drew walked over to one of the benches lining the walls and waited, wondering if the others would follow and continue their conversation. I wonder if they know about the path of the gods yet. If not, i'm sure Garai will explain it once Lucian and the other kid get here.
