*Satellite Construction*
The N.E.C has begun construction on 23 military satellites to compete with other nations large supply.
*Mining Operations*
The lunar base belonging to the N.E.C has been sent mining equipment to be applied to the mining craft. The N.E.C hopes that they will gain a larger influx of materials to combat with the small land area compared to the other nations.
*Economic Focus*
The N.E.C has applied more of it's budget to economic programs within it's borders in an effort to increase budget to allow maintenance of a larger military and better space programs in the future.
The Arab union begins a program to build more satelites and began to fund a newer lunar mining program. Also, the AUSA (Arab Union Space Agency) announces that it's beggining to start building rockets and capsules that can go to Mars. Because of this, the AUEC (Arab Union Economic Council) decreases it's oil price in a 10% to fund the Mars program giving more avaiability to oil for other nations.

February 28, 2078: Vientiane, Laos, The Confederation
Kamon Vongchanh was at the ripe age of 23, ready to take on the world, or at least the non-Lao leaders of the Confederation. He certainly had the knowledge, charisma, and willpower to do it.
The only thing was that for now, he was stuck at a mere desk job in Vientiane. He worked as a clerk for the largest Laotian corporation that could operate both independently and internationally: Niyomkham Synthesis. Niyomkham was a company that manufactured and synthesized several nano-scale parts for some of the most cutting-edge computers and machines in the world. They were sometimes even contacted by independent European, American, and Pacific companies for their parts. For a company built upon the ashes of Fourth World War, and fully staffed and operated in one of the least stable places in the entire world, these sales to larger, wealthier, and presumably more advanced companies from some of the utopian countries of the world were quite the achievements.
But none of that mattered to Kamon. Before the war, his father, Sunan, had run a small, but thriving publishing business, devoted to the advancement and spread of national Laotian culture. During the war, he had made a risky choice to continue his publishing and to press his support for the Lao peoples, as he thought that the combined might of the Lao and the Thai would be unbeatable. However, when a huge joint American-Myanma-Khmer military force marched into Vientiane virtually unhindered, he suddenly became aware that his decision to continue his painfully obviously pro-Lao publishing business would make both his business and his name huge targets for the suppression of Lao nationalism. And huge targets they made. After the enemy forces fully secured Vientiane, and quelled most of the unrest, Vongchanh's Publishing was one of the first businesses to have their doors less than nicely knocked down and their owners placed under house arrest for questioning.
Thankfully for Sunan, his business was rather small, and only supplied a small community. After he provided a small amount of questioning, he was, in return, awarded with a small amount of money, presumably to help him take care of himself after the rude Americans seized his Publishing House and destroyed his business assets. So here he was, left in the streets of Vientiane, life destroyed and left with nothing but a diminutive fortune in his pocket, the clothes on his person, and a burning dislike for America, and later the puppet Confederation they left in the path of their destruction to try to mop it up.
This intense hate was passed on to Kamon, Sunan's only son, who grew up a bright and happy boy. He was a very smart young child, one that had the case where everything could pique his interest, and nothing could stop his mind from working. That was, until the date of April 1, 2065. In what could be seen as a cruel feat of irony, Sunan, who had since found a relatively well paying job as a teacher in one of Vientiane's new schools, was suddenly called to court, apparently sued for the propagation of pro-Lao literature and ideas. Sadly for both Kamon and Sunan, this was true. Sunan was sent to prison with a sentence of 50 years, and little did Kamon know that his only visit to his father, when Sunan was first sent to the complex, would be his last.
Kamon grew up a lonely child. His demeanor, manner, and formerly constantly happy countenance had all changed or disappeared. He was now a sullen child, living with a widow mother who was taking the grief of the sudden departure of her husband almost as poorly as Kamon was taking it.
But that was in the past. Instead, today, February the 28, 2078, will be marked as one of the most important days of Asian history.
Kamon Vongchanh was busy alternately tapping at his keyboard and taking a sip from his hot Sumatran coffee, fresh from Pacific Indonesia. He was presumably so busy, that he didn't notice the knocking at his door, nor did he notice when the man who was knocking simply walked in, without a word spoken.
*Ahem* The man coughed, hoping to gain Kamon's attention. And gain his attention it did.
"Yes?" Kamon asked, barely looking up from his work. So engrossed he was... Or was he?
"I take you to be Kamon Vongchanh? Only son of the late Sunan Vongchanh?" The new man asked, with a grim and almost emotionless tone that caught Kamon off-guard. The only thing that made him look up from his work, however, was one word in the man's statement that stayed in Kamon's ears.
"...Late?" Kamon muttered, throat dry, hoping for the best but knowing the inevitable words that would follow. And then he looked up. The man speaking to him was not a Confederate Official. He did not have the bright green uniform that was so common within the Confederate Capital of Siem Reap, and even was beginning to permeate the streets and halls of Vientiane and its buildings. Instead, he was wearing a much more discrete drab grey trench coat, and when he slightly opened his coat, a bright bronze badge poked out at him. Kamon gulped slightly with the realization.
It wasn't a Confederate Official. It was, if possible, even worse. The man speaking to him was a member of the Lao National Union, a notoriously illegal Lao nationalist party that was not against using violent means against Myanma and Khmer to garner their own support and independence. That was not to say that Kamon was against Lao nationalism. He was a full-blood Lao. It's just that Kamon didn't agree with the... unsavoury methods that the LNU used.
The new man again spoke, and he took a deep breath in preparing to do so, as if he were about to give a huge speech. "I presume that that means yes. My name is Khamla Sysavath. In case you didn't know, I'm a recruiter for the Lao National Union. And I know perfectly well who you are. This may not mean much, but your father was a great man. He was a true Lao. And I know that you are too. This is why I'm gifting you an invitation to join us, join the greatest political party to walk the grounds of all Laos. I am also here to give you a bit of news that might just make you consider your opinion. Not too long ago, the puppeteer state of the Confederation, United North America, is completely pulling themselves out of external affairs. They isolated themselves, and apparently they think that they can operate completely self-sufficiently... Well, any logical economist knows that that's not true, but I'm getting off topic here. The point is that the Confederation no longer has the backing of the Americans. If there ever was a time to strike, if there ever was a time to initiate a rebellion, it is now, when the foundation of the Confederation goes crumbling down. So join me, Vongchanh, join me for a free Laos. After all, we aren't really Indochinese, but Lao."
It was similar enough to a huge speech, and the few seconds Kamon took considering the offer seemed like hours, with Khamla standing patiently in the corner of Kamon's office. Kamon thought about Khamla's words. The Americans pulled themselves out of world affairs? Perhaps this really was the right time to honor his father, to once more become a Laotian citizen.
And the words that came out of Kamon's mouth next, the words that put a faint smile on Khamla's face, the words that, in only a few days, would catapult Indochina into disorder, and eventually civil war, came out without a moment's hesitation.
A Dispatch from the Capital of the United Confederal Republics of Greater Indochina, Siem Reap
To: United North America
We would like to inquire into your questionable withdrawal from world affairs. Surely you know what kind of an impact that will leave on several nations that depend on American funds, Indochina being one of them. Your withdrawal of economic and military support is a chilling occurrence that might end with the demise of several countries such as Indochina. We hope that you will rethink this statement. If you cannot, we respectfully ask for a reason why.
Regards,
The Prime Minister of The United Confederal Republics of Greater Indochina, the President of the Confederal Republic of Cambodia, Phirun Sothy Soun
I'd like to think of myself as intelligent, but that, given the sheer variety and vastness of the cosmos that surrounds me, it is readily apparent that this is not the case.
*Space Expansion*
In an effort to expand the N.E.C farther into space, the N.E.N.S.A. (Northern Europe National space agency) have underwent an ambitious project, kept in great secret from the public. They are attempting to expand their control of the solar system through mining outside the sensors of the Americans and sending newly designed mining vessels to Mars. They have recently begun the program and are currently sending supplies in secret to the lunar base on the lifters, hidden among the food and resources. They, after determining that the current program is a success, will be sending robotic drones to build an underground base as a standing place for the N.E.C. They are currently constructing long range mining ships on the lunar base and are due to send them out within 4 months. The minister of the space program has gone to great lengths to keep this out of sight of any spies that may be lodged within the government, and a chosen few know about the program.
space update
A.C.E. Satellites continue to orbit the world, their main purpose is still unknown to most.
Military update
Troops have been increasing in numbers near the border. The armed military satellites now keeping an "eye" on most things in space. They have also started to shoot and destroy any space debris near them.
Environmental update
Areas of high pollution are gaining more programs to lower pollution in an effort to increase public support.
News update
A.C.E. Is closing it's border to countries it has unsteady relationships with. Only Asian countries can still enter now.

Description of Military: A large military making use of close combat weapons that focus on firepower rather than accuracy. The back bone of the military is the SFC-70, a Brazilian SMG with short range and high damage, able to punch through most armors. The strength of the military is gurillea warfare, in both urban and jungle settings, due to the environment of South America.
History: After South America was weakened from the conflicts of both WWIII and WWVI several drug lords managed to organize their gangs to overtake the government of most of the countries the empire under the control of the drug lords was dubbed the South American Union. Armed with cash from the drug trade and the combined might of the fighting force of both the drug gangs and the fragments of the military, the SAU set out to conquer the other South American cities, using their access to cheap manufacturing as their major advantage.
[[That question I asked. As soon as i hear the word empire I suddenly think about dragons elves humans and magic but in this it would just be humans stuck in the past.]]
((Most likely no. Also, what kind of history have you been learning if empire makes you think of that? If you want to RP something stuck in the past, I suggest not RPing here. I mean, just look at me. I'm the smallest, least stable of all these states. But I'm pretty sure no sovereign state would still be medieval era. Look at the conquest of Poland in WWII. If they try... It just doesn't work out.))

We see now that our impacts of us withdrawing from world affairs will be devastating so we are reconsidering at opening up trade with the world and sending our military where needed.
*News Update*
After a few long days of debate UNA President William Johnson has decided that the UNA will re-enter world Affairs. President Johnson has to say "...We didnt think about the affects it would cause on other nations..."
*Science update*
Top scientists in the UNA have developed new Railgun weapon and is now installing it on a fleet of battleships in an undisclosed location.
*Space Update*
UNA has launched 3 spacecrafts to send for repairs on some of the older outdated satellites. In other news the construction of a new lunar base has begun.
Country Name: Malkrantia
Form of Government: Council of Military Leaders
Present day borders: Stretches through mid-southern Eroupe down through a lot of the middle east into India, with a few small settlements in eastern/northern Africa, Greenland, and Hawaii.
Description of Military/Military Strength:
Uniform depends on where they are located, medium-weight dark to light green/brown camoflauge in jungle and forests but a lighter, tan-brownish camoflauged uniform in deserts and the like.
About 16,500,000 total troops, spread out throughout the country. Most infantry go through a medium-short training program designed to efficiently train them to obey orders, physically condition them, and teach them general weapons use. These are often brought into the military because of the law, but some soldiers are more specialized and are experts in either of the three elite training programs: sniping, heavy weapons, or demolitions. More troops may be conscripted if neccesary. The training for both programs is intense and difficult.
Around 4,000,000 total ground vehicles, 25,000 total aircraft, 20,000 total ships, and 15 reusable military spacecraft.
The country mainly uses bullet/explosive weapons, but some experimental weapons as well. The country spends a lot of money in Military research, which has paid off with items like the chamelion suit, phantom missile, etc. However, these are costly and therefore rare.
History (Bio of your nation): As many countries fell into ruin, much of eroupe banded together to save what civilization they had. Then, after a series of wars with Asia and the middle east, the country conquered a vast expanse of land. Now, they continue to build up their military for whatever may come next...
Enemies (Nation you don't like? add them to your enemies): This country has none that it is in war with, but is cautious and does not make alliances lightly.
Suggestions (Any Type of Suggestion):

((Just so you know, railgun's are not particularly hard to make. Powerful ones are though.))
*Drafting*
The N.E.C military has begun drafting new troops to match the increasing forces of the other powers. The effort increases the troop count to 2,198,473 troops. They will continue to draft troops over the next few years.
*Military Update*
The N.E.C military divisions have begun production of several more advanced combat armors and weapons to increase the combat performance of troops.
*Weapons Development*
Military researchers have begun to develop miniaturized plasma railgun designs that can be outfitted on standard troops. They are making good progress and are currently working on ways to make the weapon easier to handle and with better firing rate compared to the outdated mega railguns that take several minutes to load.
*Deception Update*
In response to A.C.E.'s lunar satellites several government officials have created a terrorist organization targeted against A.C.E. It has been done in this fashion to avoid any connection between any secret attacks and N.E.C. The organization is currently targeting lunar satellite arrays with the message that all nations should be allowed freedom within space without fear of being monitored.
*Space Expansion Update*
3 out of 4 of the mining/colonization ships have been created and the fourth is nearly complete. Underground bases within the lunar surface are currently housing the large vessels and are prepping them for launch. Drones set on automatically mining a base underneath the Martian surface have also been housed inside the ships to be dropped off.
*Railgun Artillery*
With the development into smaller railgun designs other military researchers have begun creating large cannons that have been hypothisized that when they are completed their range will be limited to only 9 miles. Research is young and progress is quickly being made.
You own saudi arabia and the like, I meant more northeast than that, almost asia.
