This is an interest check for a roleplay based on Sonic Adventure 2: Battle's Chao World feature. However, you do not raise the Chao. You ARE the Chao.
There are three gardens in Chao World - and now I shall explain them.
---
The Chao Garden!
The first garden is called the Chao Garden. The Chao Garden is filled with many beautiful plants and is covered in steep, rugged cliffs and a large, green field. Between the two is a somewhat large lake, continuously filled by the waterfall that runs down the side of the mountain. In the garden, there are three tall fruit trees. The fruit on these trees best resemble oranges. If a Chao were to try his hand at digging, he may find a few pumpkins buried in the ground that they could put on their head.
Behind the waterfall is a hidden cave carved into the mountain. This cave leads to an area known as the Chao Stadium. This stadium is where Chao can compete in various competitions such as races and karate matches.
---
The Hero Garden!
The next garden we shall discuss is known as the Hero Garden. Floating on fluffy pink clouds as far as the eye can see, there is a group of several beautiful, sun-drenched islands, the largest of which holds the primary garden. The garden consists of glorious flora, and several pillars that resemble those in Greece, some of which have broken and fallen over. Perhaps the most stunning feature in this garden is the massive pool as the back of the garden, with white tiles covering every inch of it. At the far end of the pool is a rather large fountain that continuously pours water into the pool. Like the Chao Garden, there also three tall fruit trees in this garden. However, while they have roughly the same shape, these fruit have the color and appearance of sliced pineapples as opposed to the orange-like appearance of the Chao Garden's fruit. If a chao were to dig here, they could find a few pumpkins underneath the surface.
Another striking feature in this garden is what appears to be a broken bridge that looms over the pool. It makes an excellent diving board for the Chao that wish to dive into the pool, and a rather good perch for looking out over the garden.
---
The Dark Garden!
The third and final garden we will visit is labeled the Dark Garden. This garden is QUITE unlike the two aforementioned gardens, and is easily the most menacing - it is a very dark, grim place continuously bathed in eternal night. The ground, unlike the other two gardens, is not green - it is made of a stone-like substance that, strangely enough, is pretty much as hard as dirt. Nevertheless, it is still cold and grey. The region is quite mountainous, but quite a few plants still dot the landscape. They aren't quite as pretty, though. Quite a noticeable feature in this garden is the number of tombstones that happen to fill it. There is also a large tree in the corner of the garden, and hanging from it's branches are bones and cages. However, there are still some similarities, like the fruit trees - while they look old and withered, there's no doubt that they still grow fruit. The fruit that grows from these trees don't resemble the other two at all - they have a striking resemblance to strawberries, except without the leaves on the top. If one were to dig in this garden, they would find not pumpkins, but skulls. But what kind of Chao would be so insane as to wear one of these on their head? Nevertheless, they are still able to, and, aside from the fact that it had to come from SOMEWHERE, it's still a pretty cool accessory.
But perhaps what makes this garden so special is the lake - there is no known supplier of water for this lake, so it's quite curious how it manages to stay filled. What's more, this isn't normal water - instead of the clear blue color, it's... red. Quite red. Fortunately, it doesn't seem that this water is blood considering it's viscosity and transparency. Which begs the question... what IS it?
One last thing that makes the Dark Garden unique is the mountain range that surrounds the garden - each one has a rather disturbing and/or menacing face carved into it.

So, that's the stuff you need to know about the gardens. There's too much about the chao themselves to put into a single post, so if there's anything you need to know, there's a website for that. But if you've spent significant time with Chao, then you probably know all you need to know. If you have any questions, you're welcome to ask. There will be more when the RP actually comes out, and I apologize if I missed anything substantial.

"We must call for aid! Executor, bring out the Reavers! ... What? What do you mean we don't have reavers anymore? Then... send the Dragoons! ... Ugh, then what do you suggest? ... What's a Void Ray?!" -Tassadar, Savior of the Templar

Heh, recent playing of a nineish year-old game...
anywho, don't forget that there are Laguz of varying varieties... and, yes, they do still exist in their latest installment... well, mostly the white dragons, and a new kind of beast laguz.
Er, as for this... you're going to need something to do, a sort of goal in mind in order for me to be slightly interested.
Goal? What kind of goal? Like a plot? I'm definitely considering the idea of a plot, but I'm not quite certain. It's likely that there will be a plot, but I'm not sure what it will be.

Don't worry - that's still gonna happen. Just not yet.

In the meantime, I've decided that I want to make a Chao Garden roleplay due to my recent playing of SA2B, and me remembering how much I love Chao.
